  1. Also I am down in Stafford, but work in Chantilly if it helps.
  2. Well I have decided I am going to stay out the hobby for at least another 5-10 years until i am more stable and have all my student loans paid for. So here is the last of my goods: Reef Octopus INT200 – Pump is about 6 months old and is an OTP pump. Needs to be cleaned. Rated for 250 gallons. Asking $160 RLSS DC12000 – Pump and Controller are brand new and APEX compatible. Also comes with a spare pump that will need to be cleaned. Asking $180 Fluval AC70 – Used on my nano tank for a HOB Fuge. Comes with the AC70 and AC30 impeller for slower flow rates. Asking $40 Milwaukee SMS 122 PH Meter – Designed to be used for Calcium reactors, but I used it as a standalone PH meter with no issues. I can include probe (if I can find it), but recommend buying a new one as mine is about 9 months old. Asking $40 Jebao WP40 – Used for about 1.5 years. Cleaned regularly. Asking $35 Jebao RW-15 – Used for about 9 months. Cleaned regularly. Asking $60 Unknown brand 50GPD RODI. Membrane 6 months old. DI is color changing resin from BRS and still good. Carbon and sediment will need to be replaced. Still producing 0 TDS. Asking $60 Hydor ATO – Used for about 4 weeks before I sold my Nano comes with a Toms Aqualifter. Asking $80 Ecotech fragging kit. Used up all the glue, but all tools in good shape and come with some plugs. Asking $50. Also got a bag of random plugs for $25 (probably over 100 in the bag of different types/sizes. Lastly is my most prized saltwater possession: Giesemann 72 in SPECTRA 3 x 250W MH and 4 x 80W T5. All the bulbs are near end of life and will need to be replaced. Comes with 2 250W Giesemann ballasts (1 used for all 4 T5’s) and 2 Galaxy ballasts (1 is a 250Wx2 and other is 250W/400Wselectable). If you can’t grow corals under this light then you are doing something wrong. Fixture is in great shape and has served me well. Acrylic T5 covers could use a polishing, but then again I didn’t use them at all. Also it is missing some of the allen bolts on the side covers, no real impact at all. Asking $650. New this light is over double that price without ballasts. Also no trades since I got out of the hobby. Best way to reach me is by phone 757-648-9401 or email wildcrazyjoker81@yahoo.com as I don't login much here anymore. I can send pictures via phone or email. Aaron
  3. I will clean it up a bit tonight (used it to mix saltwater so it has the brown residue on it from sitting water and bring it to work with me tomorrow.
  4. I have an MAG18 that can be used. I don't have any plumbing for it though. I can bring it to work with me in Chantilly if anyone is willing to meet in that area since I am pretty far from everyone in Odenton.
  5. It is just a 4ft 150XH not a 150DD. No tricks just mislabeled. It is a Marineland/Perfecto tank. Rare to find these guys around. http://aquariaguru.com/product/150-gallon-xhigh-glass-aquarium-black-trim-marineland/
  6. Are you kidding me? A Giesemann for 100 bucks. Someone got a heck of a steal on that one.
  7. Welcome. Nice to have another reputable vendor here at WAMAS.
  8. Welcome. As people have said above. Just go slow and take your time. It sounds like you have a good setup for a nice starter tank. You should add location to your profile too so others can see where you are. Wouldn't be surprised if you have someone in the WAMAS community close to you to help you out too. And lastly we love pictures here
  9. Looks like a good start. Hope it goes better for you this go round.
  10. I helped dmatt on here move his 180 ten minutes down the road and it wasn't overly horrible, but that was with us using two 100G stock tanks. Still took quite some time to get it all done. I know personally I am worried for my upcoming move from MD to NOVA. I have a 150G, 24G, and 20G Fresh.
  11. Depending on when you move out here I have one in a 10G at home I am going to get rid of if you want it. Its still small and growing so don't know what it is besides a smasher.
  12. Guilty here too. I got a couple of people hooked showing them mantis shrimp videos on youtube lol.
  13. Guess who just got a R2R plug on FB. https://www.facebook.com/REEF2REEF/photos/a.400682809805.176132.341407129805/10153392391289806/?type=1&theater
  14. Glad you are keeping it. Removes my temptation to buy it . It looks really nice for sure.
  15. I saw that in a magazine I picked up at CTE this weekend! My wife and I are going to try and attend at least for a day. You could always volunteer at the event too. Just throwing that out there ha ha.
  16. I too have a bunch in my sump and tank. My trigger eats them and seems to readily enjoy them.
  17. If someone were to take these couldn't they do a FW dip before adding to a clean system to knock off the ICH? I know you still leave an opening for disaster, but just a thought. I wouldn't mind helping out, but I will be moving soon myself and having to tear down my 150G and 24G.
  18. My 40B QT was the same. It had cardboard stuck to the silicone. I just made that the back side and filled it up with no issues.
  19. Are you getting rock from HoT? If so I HIGHLY recommend you do not as you WILL get unwanted pests in your rock. I have had numerous people come over to my house for corals/fish and I always hear the horror stories of mantis shrimp, gorilla crabs, and numerous other predatory hitchikers. I have a friend and fellow WAMAS member on here who has live rock for sale if wanted.
