  1. Looks like a great start! Love that tonga rock!
  2. I think you'd be okay with the sump in the garage... But not the tank... My garage stays cool as I'm in a townhouse and have neighbors, so in the summer it never gets over 90... But winter it gets down to 60...so you'd be running many heaters (or find a way to enclose it in the winter?)
  3. Hey it looks pretty good for being ignored... Life happens and just getting back on track will hopefully make everything happier
  4. Interesting...
  5. Yes! Very helpful...and now to re-set up my darn apex since I stupidly upgraded routers, lol darn it!
  6. Wow... Well when you get that last light fixed... Put up some pics! glad you have gotte. The 'kinks' worked out so far, I know how easy it is to get hung up on stuff that isn't working properly.
  7. Ohhhh that was good luck! Hopefully he stays happy
  8. None I frequent that far south, I'm in Woodbridge, and mainly go to incredible corals, quantum reefs and sometimes BRK.. And if you're up for a drive Marine Scene and ERC are great
  9. Also depending on how prevalent they are in your tank, you may need to do a few dosings of flatworm exit ( I had to do this when I had them since I had some zoas I couldn't take out and dip) to be able to kill any eggs that hatch...
  10. Looking good! Love the redesign
  11. Me too... It's life... Lol just as I talk about my kids, my dogs; I talk about my tank..
  12. Awww. Sounds like he had a good aquarium life. RIP Vince the Firefish!
  13. Done I'm slated to help Scott with vendor relations since he is going to be out of town the week prior, but I will be working during that time also, so something during the event days would be good, as I am hopefully going to be there for all 3 days
  14. Umm. I keep my tank at 74.. Always did in Washington since it never gets extremely hot or cold on the peninsula... Depending on what corals he has I wouldn't necessarily turn it up to 79 if it's been broken for weeks/months
  15. If I've already been Volun-told for a position, would I need to fill out the survey Lol I can't wait!
  16. Did my review (under my husbands name since 'he' has Amazon and I don't,lol) no need for a towel, have one already! Just glad to support y'all in your ever growing company!
  17. Lol, for $20 of what someone else did the work... Taking 2 hours to clean it would be worth it if it was what you needed... I know when I price them I want it gone, so it will be cheap and I'm not putting any extra time into it... That's a deal to me
  18. Very awesome... Soon there will be some big life happening in there!
  19. Wow... Hole looks great... Glad you have trim on that tank... Holy bubbles!
  20. Very very quiet!
  21. Ugh me too!
  22. I've had issues and ended up with fairly high salinity... Just drop it very slowly And personally, I temp acclimate the bag (float) of whatever (fish or inverts) I buy, add 50% to volume off bag of my tank water after 10 minutes of floating, let sit another 5 minutes and then net out and into the tank (I don't want other people's water in my tank) I've not had to many issues doing it this way for the last 10 years... I've had more problems drop acclimating...
