  1. I don't know if there will be much overlap in your housing... But you could set up a temp tank and if not moving really far move the things you must keep? When I moved in town last time that's what I ended up doing... I was at the new place everyday painting and getting bits of things moved over before the big full move...
  2. I can't imagine to far off 95, everything in Orlando is made to be easy to get to...unlike here! Lol
  3. Very cool! Thanks for keeping this updated!
  4. Yeah diatoms or a dusting of a brown algae, the Montipora in the first picture? And something, bubble algae and looks like a spiroid(sp) casing?
  5. Oh that skimmer looks good in there!
  6. And you truly can't visit ERC and not buy anything... I keep telling myself when I go there with my friend I don't need anything...lol Until I look in his tanks
  7. Lol... Awesome save!
  8. Looks nice! Love the inside!
  9. The tunze is a good one for the aio's because it is more sensitive... I LOVE the Red Sea max AIO's but yeah$$$$ I think your fail safes sound right, they do just need to be updated and checked monthly... That's pretty much the only reason I have an apex, lol water leakage, heater breakage, or power outage Just don't get discouraged... We all have bad days.. I just made 10 gallons of water on the floor of my spare bathroom, thankfully it's in the basement (as is my tank)
  10. Sorry for your bad day! I think having an auto top off like avast and a clamp for the line into the tank that can't get bumped is a definite no matter what size tank... From a reservoir underneath... With that said... I think the tank you have or a bit bigger and have a place underneath in the cabinet for the ato reservoir that you could set in a drip pan, either a 5 g bucket or acrylic box... I'm the first one to have issues and other than the crazy odd days, it sounds like this tank works for you
  11. Also, look into making some pod motels... Basically rubble rock encased in gutter guard or plastic screen all around that will keep them safe from fish and such...
  12. That's... Wrong... In so many ways!
  13. If your using photobucket there is an IMG code you just copy and paste...(I think it's the IMG one)
  14. Nope won't open... Easier to use photobucket and post a link...
  15. P.s. Sunday some may not be open for Easter, lots of the large national chains will be but yeah... Return pump, if you're trying to keep it cheap just go with a mag.... Eheim is good for energy efficient and not as loud as a mag.... Look through the for sale section here... Always pumps listed somewhere... I like alot of live rock.. There's no magic number for lbs to gallons, it depends on how well your husbandry skill are (or will be)
  16. Looks great! Love the rock scape.
  17. Pretty! Love the seahorse tank...
  18. I've used the Novus polishes on acrylic... Not sure if they would work on glass... Or make it worse...
  19. Riding it out and hoping for the best is really the only thing if you can't move them out to a QT tank...
  20. It looks great!m
  21. Love it! your fish will have a nice tan!
  22. Loving the start of this build! You've got some fun stuff going on!
  23. Rob has lots of 'vintage' stuff, advice being one of the things... And dagnabitt, he's still right .... Most of the time...
