Thanks Tom. I sent Coralvue customer service a warranty request earlier today. Too bad they don't have a phone number. Hoping they contact me back on Monday and that it doesn't take too long to resolve.
In the mean time, I found some old powerheads in my storage bin I had forgotten about.
Think the power supply on my xf230 just died after only 2 months. Not sure how long the warranty process is going to take. Does anyone have a spare power I can borrow or buy? Thanks
What you described is similar to the herbie method without the backup. Even if your sump can handle the excess water, you'll want a backup drain in case something clogs your main.
Are you incorporating a fuge into the sump? Any baffles? What's layout?
You want the skimmer area large enough to accommodate the skimmer (potential upgrades), but you also want the return area to be large enough to account for evap; even with a ATO. Personal preference, but I don't like the ATO constantly turning on.
Put a union on the return pump for easy access/cleaning.
I used these in the past with good success. If I remember correctly, they were made my Intermatic.

Prob depends on how long you want full spectrum for... Say if you wanted 8hrs full, then maybe do an hour of each "ramping" up and down for about a 12hr period.
If you don't need wifi and alexa compatibility, I'd probably pass on the one you linked unless it was UL approved or something similar.
Contact ecotech to see what they have to say. If your schedule is still correct, meaning no one changed it on your behalf, then it was probably just a glitch. Do you have a reeflink or wxm? Change your ecotech pwd, just in case.
Did you check to see if your schedule was changed? Did you change anything settings yesterday? I had a situation where I changed a setting and the lights got out of sync.
