  1. Cool! I am old school, only use white and blue and 60 white and 40% blue. Maybe I need to add more blue to make it pop!
  2. The email I got from petco listed only the 10G, 20G, 20L and 29G are on sale.
  3. Thanks Ron, I searched around the web and seem like that's the one for it. The light orange (I think) in it throw me off a bit. I asked my kids and they said "pinkish". Maybe I don't know my colors
  4. Yes! photo is accurate. seem to be mixture of orange and pink. but more toward pink with green eyes.
  5. got this chalice several years back. It's was a 1/2" frag and was pricey. It's now 3.5"-4" diameter, just don't remember the name. Also, like to find out what it worth now. Thanks, Chuck
  6. Alan, I am still in Darnestown. When I get a chance, I'll stop by to check out your system.
  7. Yelllow damsels. One of them is a biter. attack my hand almost every time I aquascape or mounting frags her den.
  8. Yeah! That’s seem to be my experience too. Tank looks ugly but coral are growing or perhaps you don’t see the growth when you’re looking at it daily.
  9. Me too. I’ve been thinking about adding a few more of different variety of BTA.
  10. Looking very fine!
  11. Wow bro! looks like you loaded up with some really nice stuffs. Will have to visit you sometime.
  12. Bummer! Have you tried lights out a few days to see if it reduced dino? I don't think hermit crabs will eat those stuff. Nerite snails might eat those brown stuffs. If you get them, make sure you keep a lid tight on the tank or they climb out and eventually die.
  13. The undata looking really good man!
  14. The past year had been crazy with personal life. I was not too active with reefing stuff but remained committed to reefing. Darn Photobucket! Can't see my photos any more. Anyway, I am back! Here is a video of my tank, was so busy that my whole basement project stalled and nothing was has move since last year. Hopefully can get something going soon. Meanwhile enjoy. Happy New Year!
  15. Same here! One would expect more on it's brand. To be fair, it doing a decent job on the stubborn algae. But the the design is awful if you have a large tank. Imagine yourself holding a tiny brush to scrub algae. The handle is so small, my fingers locked-up after a long period of scrapping. Also, I have the "long" scrapper and magnet is not really strong for the 1/2" glass.
  16. Looking good! following along.
  17. Hi all! Been busy outside pulling weeds !! Caught this little guy off the Florida's Clearwater back in June! Thought it was a puffer at first but look like some kind of cowfish. cute little guy, but we let it back into the ocean after some photo shots! Tanks update: not much changes in the last few months. Loss a few colonies and frags and very little growth, but over all not too bad. Maybe need new lighting/My 4+ years old LED maybe going south!
  18. if my guess is correct! you don't have venturi air line. see this video below: notiice where the the venturi air line is located.
  19. the first pic you posted, the one with clear tubing is the outlet or inlet?
  20. Well, I don't have much experience with external skimmer! but let me try to assist. I am sure it similar to the internal one. From the photos you posted. Look like the skimmer has one inlet (water coming in) and I am assuming the one with some sort of air tube pointed upward is the outlet (water going out and into you sump)? From above, look like you are pumping water in and no bubbles in the skimmer body, CORRECT? Do you have a VENTURI with air hose connected into the pump? if you don't have one then it's probably why you're not getting any bubble in the skimmer. Pic of the pump setup?
  21. 1+ ^^^^ You can try adding filter floss to the part that goes into the retrun chamber to eliminate some bubbles or try wrapping this mesh around the return pump: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Plastic-Canvas-7-Count-12-X18-Clear/32823894?action=product_interest&action_type=title&item_id=32823894&placement_id=irs-302-m3&strategy=PWVAV&visitor_id&category=&client_guid=b4516542-f342-4353-8d7b-7531fd8069c9&customer_id_enc&config_id=302&parent_item_id=32765533&parent_anchor_item_id=32765533&guid=d0faf9dd-0bc9-4191-8030-87fc134a10d6&bucket_id=irsbucketdefault&beacon_version=1.0.1&findingMethod=p13n
