    what are you using to hold the water while you are testing? If you use a regular cup or bowl you may be picking up other things like detergent residue.

    Awesome event, I always enjoy stopping by. I got the fish and corals that I wanted and really enjoyed seeing everyone and as always the customer service was top notch, thanks again for hosting a great social.

    I want to reduce the flow from my Mag 3 just a tad until my new Mag 2 arrives, what should I use to do this? It is plumbed with flexible tubing directly off of the pump.

    My sedra 3500 stopped working after I shut it off for a period to dose Prodibio. After I plugged it back in...nothing. I let it soak over night in vinegar, cleaned it and the next day it was working fine. I still purchased a back up pump just in case it does it again.

    If you feed heavily your peppermint shrimp will not even look at the aptasia, Aptaisia X has worked well for me....plus it's just fun to watch them implode.

    You can keep just about anything with the right T-5 fixture. It is more difficult finding the right bulb combination that works for you. I run t-5's over my frag tank and they work on everything, even SPS. Really the only thing you lose when switching from the halides is that gorgeous shimmer effect, which I love.

    Moving men Very useful to have and helpful with heavy moves. You should be able to pick some up at HD or Lowes.

    that sucks, I tried metafix on my freshwater fish for wounds and it worked well, not sure if it is meant for SW though.
