  1. If you feel like stopping in Pa. East Coast Aquatics is right off of 95 and has a decent selection. ECA
  2. Yeah, just got back from down there, no meeting at the aquarium tonight due to a mix up with the date.
  3. I have been using IC gel, but recently switched to a new product that Nadir (fishnreef) carries on his site, it works as well as the IC gel but is a tad cheaper.
  4. What diameter PVC are you hooking that up to
  5. Awesome Justin. When you said you were building a green house, I had no idea you were planning something like this. That thing is amazing.
  6. Arguing with a Mod will get you banned from selling as well, some of the mods there can't take criticism at all.
  7. See this thread...ball valve I got everything from home depot and it fits the 3/4" line perfectly.
  8. I used 3/4" hose from BRK that fit over the 1/2" pvc, you can check my 20L build thread, but here are a few pics.. 20L
  9. I used 1/2" PVC to plumb my mag 3, and they are pretty much the same size.
  10. "Falling coconuts kill 150 people worldwide each year, 15 times the number of fatalities attributable to sharks," said George Burgess, Director of the University of Florida's International Shark Attack File and a noted shark researcher.
  11. Place them directly in the light and the colors should come out nicely. It will take at least a month, there is nothing that will make paly's brighten immediately. You can also try adding vitamin C, but I am new to it, I haven't ran it on my main tank yet. Metal Halides tend to lose their "umph" after about 8 months and 10k tends to make zoa's turn brown. I keep my corals under 14K's which put out a bluer light. Your alk should be measured in DKH and be between 7 (near natural sea water) and 10, sometimes mine is as high as 11. I hope this helps you out some.
  12. x2 it comes from too many nutrients in the tank, how much do you feed?
  13. Awesome looking tank, it really is beautiful Adam.
  14. The guy never said the marine scene has bad water, the exact quote was: "regrettably i have to go TMS, who's water quality i am not confident about" Not being confident in the water is a far sight from saying 'TMS has bad water and you should never go to TMS because of it.'. My opinion means a lot to ME and for a store owner to call my opinion absurd is quite frankly a slap in the face. I have never given any store in the area a bad review, but quite frankly Tom is showing how he feels about member opinions if they do not agree with him.
  15. I was just in Pristine yesterday, Phillip said that they were expecting a new order this week. I purchased 2 fish from there this past week and they are doing great.
  16. I stopped in again today and Sean has some amazing corals in stock, I ended up walking out with more than I went in for......good stuff.
  17. I really didn't mind, but a pic of my son was in the pic as well, I sent them an edited pic. I am all for promoting a great company such as yours.
  18. I sent them an email asking them to either edit it or remove it completely.
  19. First off the sps probably won't survive the 2 day shipping as Adam stated. Second do not use the USPS, I used to work in one of their processing centers, quite possibly the worst run organization I have seen as far as shipping goes. I have actually seen employees kicking packages through the air that had fragile written all over them. I have had the best luck with shipping sps with FedEx, UPS comes in second. I normally use a stryro box and in the summer, cold packs to make sure the package doesn't over heat.
  20. I agree with Rik, plus he has a great coral selection.
