MLazar May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 I opened this post and said "wow" out loud. I love the colors........ Just gorgeous. Maureen
roni May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 Though the pictures are really nice, they actually don't do justice to how nice this tank is. btw, when you frag your A.suharsonoi, I want a piece!
marinap May 8, 2012 Author May 8, 2012 Thank you, Maureen. Thanks for the compliments, roni. I do have frags of suharsonoi, swing by anytime.
Der ABT May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 oooo mannn, those are my dream dimensions right now....VERY NICE TANK...heck id be happy with a 30 wide.....love the shallower tanks though....barebottom, rockwork....all right along the lines of how i would do it.... x2 on the suharsonoi frag haha... really like the anthias schools as well i need a bigger tank...
Leishman May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 Nice work Marina! I knew you were Queen of the fish, seeing this we can add Queen of SPS..... How often do you feed those anthias? Their colors are sick.
marinap May 8, 2012 Author May 8, 2012 (edited) You make me blush, Rik This tank is trully a team work of the family. Anthias eat 3 times a day, once they are established. And just to brag a little - have you heard that I bred chrysogaster clowns last year? That's one of the lil guys in front of suharsonoi... Edited May 8, 2012 by marinap
Ryan S May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 Absolutely beautiful! I wish we had TOTM up and running. You'd surely get a page! I'll take one of each please! PS: Did you get your fish primarily from Diver's Den as well?
marinap May 8, 2012 Author May 8, 2012 Thank you, Ryan. Powder Blue came to us 10 years ago from Roozens, Tukas are from BlueZoo, and the rest are Live Aquaria (not DD).
Saltwaterworx May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 Lovin' the Evansis.... Anyone else like them? I may know a guy!!
marinap May 8, 2012 Author May 8, 2012 (edited) Evansi are beautiful fish, but require at least 3 feedings per day with small foods - cyclopeeze, nutrimar ova, minced mysis. They have very small mouths, even compared to tukas. They were really difficult to acclimate. Edited May 8, 2012 by marinap
GraffitiSpotCorals May 8, 2012 May 8, 2012 Nice colors, nice dimensions, and beautiful fish. Looking forward to more pics.
rocko918 May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 Colonies look great! Congrats on all the fish as well. Very hard to keep most of those fish alive.
bravanc May 9, 2012 May 9, 2012 Agree the pics are nice but in person, this tank is awesome! Great job Rick and Marina
marinap May 18, 2012 Author May 18, 2012 How do you like your skimmer? Laura It works fine, I have not had any problems with it.
marinap December 2, 2012 Author December 2, 2012 Added these three guys to the tank couple of months ago. They are great!
Coral Hind December 2, 2012 December 2, 2012 Oh wow, I'm so jealous! Do they normally school with each other in the tank? Do you have an updated full tank shot for us?
