If it was on one zoa frag, i would toss is. Did you put it in your tank?
anytime a bunch of flatworms fall of frags I get when I’m dipping the whole thing goes in the trash. I would rather throw out a $50 coral then get them in my tank and have to worry about getting rid of them.
I don’t have one, but I have heard that their stands just can’t support the weight. If they send you a new tank, I would look into building a stand. I know a guy in the Stafford area that does good work if you need a reference.
I have that exact tank. Do you have suction cups? It’s heavy. I had 6 people lift up mine. The club has suction cups to rent. Well worth it for peace of mind and no smashed fingers.
If you don’t have a screen top for it yet, I have a home made one from stuff you buy at lowes you’re more than welcome to have. I have a custom top now and have no need for the home made one. I’m in nokesville. Just let me know.
They use less energy if you use them at 20-30%. Running at full they still use a bunch. But I found that the varios 8s pump works great. I tried the Vectra pumps and could hear a hum. I don’t hear anything with the varios and I’m running it at 100%.
So what is your thoughts in the hydros controller? I have been looking for something other than apex for basic safety monitoring stuff. It looks like a nice simple design
I have two of them over my 60 frag tank. They do well. Im not sure if they have a controller, I don’t have one, but I run them at 60% all blue over my LPS/Zoa tank and everything grows well.
For a reef tank 24” depth front to back is a must have in my opinion. open top as well. I hate this cut outs due to lack of spread for lights.
best tanks in my opinion for display are
48x24x16 - 80 gallon display
48x24x22 - 100 gallon
48x24x24 - 120 gallon
60x24x24 - 150 gallon
72x24x24 - 180 gallon.
SCA has some great prices for tanks.
