  1. Interested in both the Ai 52hds, tried to pm you but it wouldn't go through
  2. My wife hand painted all these for me, if you're looking for something simple I'm sure she could make you a custom print. They take several hours because the uv reflective paint takes forever to dry.
  3. Hello wamas! If anyone is available this Sunday the 20th around noon I'm finally upgrading my 90 gallon display to my dream tank (SC aquarium 150) and would greatly appreciate any help I can get, both lifting the 90 out of the house and bringing the 150 up into the same spot. I'll have 2 stock tanks to temporarily hold all the fish/corals while we get the tanks swapped out. Happy to provide drinks and pizza for anyone that can make it out plus give out some free corals and fish for your time. Please message me if you are able to come and I'll send you all the details. Also the 90 will be available for sale as soon as I get it out and cleaned up if you're interested, it's a beautiful tank with custom stand and canopy with plenty of equipment to go with it. Should go smoothly as I've already pre glued all the plumbing and made sure I'm not missing any pieces but if you've ever moved/broken down a tank before you know anything can happen so having plenty of knowledgeable hobbyist there would be amazing. I'm located in Millersville MD 21108 which I know isn't near most of you but if you can make it out I'd be extremely grateful.
  4. Looking for guidance on which to choose. I have a 150gal that I'm building and it came with a redflex 400 sump, which measures 45 wide, I really like the sump design but it pretty much takes up all of the under cabinet space to the point I can't fit a ato container and hardly any equipment in there. The same company makes a 300 model which is 8 inches shorter in width and would be perfect for my ato container and I can squeeze a few other pieces of equipment inside. I know the age old saying with sumps "the bigger the better" but would the 300 model that's rated for up to 300 gallons be a good choice. It's roughly a 10 gallon different in capacity between the 2 models.
  5. I've fragged mine a few times, all you need is a very clean sterile razor blade, you simply cut around the outer rim so you'll get a long "ribbon" if that makes sense, super glue typically doesn't work because this coral will release a lot of slime which is a healing defense mechanism, so what I've done is take 2 rubber bands and create a X over the chunks on top of the frag plugs and the leather will actually grow its own stalk again in a few weeks. Some people have taken a plastic toothpick and speared the leather to get it to stay on the frag until it grows but I prefer the rubber band method.
