I haven’t done the two part. However I reached out to Randy Holmes Farley, the guru on R2R about the nitrate and phosphate dosing using food grade. Way way way cheaper than the neo nitrate and neo phos. There is a lot of info on the R2R pages about the 2 part stuff as well.
I personally use all 4 reef right now.
I have these on a frag tank. Best bang for the buck I have found. I’m running the 150 watt versions. But for nanos these should be fine.

I mix a little bit in a pitcher and let it soak for a few hours. Then run the pump for 10 mins in the solution and let it sit a little more. Then clean it and rinse it off.
If you can get a small generator that would power both. Not sure if you have a place to run it safely. Additionally you could get a $200 back up UPS that would cover the small tank no problem. Main thing I would worry about is heat and flow. They don’t need lights.
Any idea what might eat these. I have a tanks that’s covered in them. I would like to get them outta the tank. I can sell the loose rocks but they are all over the main structures. Wondering if there is a natural predator of them
If it was on one zoa frag, i would toss is. Did you put it in your tank?
anytime a bunch of flatworms fall of frags I get when I’m dipping the whole thing goes in the trash. I would rather throw out a $50 coral then get them in my tank and have to worry about getting rid of them.
I don’t have one, but I have heard that their stands just can’t support the weight. If they send you a new tank, I would look into building a stand. I know a guy in the Stafford area that does good work if you need a reference.
I have that exact tank. Do you have suction cups? It’s heavy. I had 6 people lift up mine. The club has suction cups to rent. Well worth it for peace of mind and no smashed fingers.
If you don’t have a screen top for it yet, I have a home made one from stuff you buy at lowes you’re more than welcome to have. I have a custom top now and have no need for the home made one. I’m in nokesville. Just let me know.
