I recently bought some dry live rock. I was wondering since i have never done this before...do i have to do something special to the rock before I put it in my tank. I have a 75 gallon tank that has been running for almost 2 years. I wanted to add some rock, but i dont want to mess my tank up. If anyone has some insight, it would be helpful. thanks eric

I just got a used aqua remora skimmer. I wanted to give it a good cleaning before starting to use it. Should i soak the whole thing in vinegar to remove the old things encrusted to it? If so, how long should i soak it and then, do i just have to rinse it off with water or something else.... thanks eric

i have an 8x54 T-5 light that I need new bulbs for. Im just wondering if i should just go to the store and buy some white and blue lights for it, or if there is some magical formula for which bulbs, which company i should by to give me the best all around colors.... its over a 75 gallon with a mix of things thanks for you input... eric

i have also had one. they are really easy but tend to grow fast. i had him with 2 porky puffers and they got along great.

I have a 75 gallon tank with no overflows or sump. My temp gets up to around 80.5 due to the wife shutting off the a/c every now and then. I thought a chiller would solve that problem, but I have no clue as to what I might need, brand wise or size wise. I was wondering if someone out there has some good advice on what chiller would work good for my tank. Thanks. eric

I use zip ties///just put it on tight enough to hold the cut end on the rock...works like a charm.... eric
