  1. If it is intimidated, like mine was, it dove into the sand and stayed there for a day or two until it was ready to come out.
  2. I have no booster, just tap pressure. My RODI device is in the basement and my RO output line runs horizontally about 25 feet and up to the kitchen sink on the main level. No pressurization issues.
  3. I have this system and do not use a permeate pump.
  4. I have no answers but am wondering where did he come from?
  5. So your yellow rules your purple, thought it was the other way around.
  6. On the one hand that might be why your tank is so clean.... Maybe you can get some kind of wrasse to take care of them. I have a yellow coris wrasse that hunts all day long and can spot them in a clump of algae with ease.
  7. Having one MP40 and supplementing the other end with another type of directional pointing pump(s) would let you hit different areas as desired.
  8. I would go with the MP40 if you know somewhere down the line you will be upgrading, plus you could always dial it down. I have one MP40 at one end of my 5 ft. tank with two koralia 3's at the opposite end pointing in diverging directions at the opposite end. I think it creates a nice turbulence hitting many areas of the tank.
  9. Dang sorry to hear about that...you had some of the best stuff in your tank.
  10. I do that too, the cheapest I have found it has been about $7.99/lb.
  11. You can get part of your cleanup crew there as well, saw some snails a few times I went.
  12. I know they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think as PJ has gotten larger it looks less attractive. When it was smaller, it was a desirable fish to me.
  13. Won't this cause more to be produced?
  14. Only way to find out is to dip it in Revive or TMPCC and really find out if they fall off.
  15. AWI is great, many times I have called with questions or when something is not working and they are very responsive and they will replace anything that is faulty no questions asked.
  16. Good to see that everything made it home OK.
  17. Someone on reef2reef was discussing this coral and said that under high intensity light that it will actually turn a yellowish color. There are tons of green/purple corals out there, sounds kind of neat to think what it might look like with a yellowish body with deep purple polyps.
  18. Last time I was in there I saw three huge frags of Oregon Tort but they were not ORA.
  19. I think your tank is so clean you need to let it get a bit dirty....
  20. What are some of these wholesaler sites you speak of?
  21. Looks alot like the strawberry crab from Hawaii in my tank.
