  1. I do not think it is possible to overdose the stuff. I have gone from bi-weekly to weekly with no ill effects.
  2. I am really sorry to hear this, you can contact me at anytime when/if you decide to start up your tank again.
  3. Saw this awhile back while exploring and thought for a second about all the tank maintenance that I would be free of...
  4. Check out Fins and Feathers in the Broadlands Center Shopping Plaza and talk to Sean.
  5. I don't believe red bugs cause that, only polyps to retract when irritated by the bugs. The only times I have had issues like that were either due to temperature or alk levels.
  6. Do you have to be a member before it can be TOTM?
  7. Interested in rainbow acro and rainbow favia, pics please?
  8. I am using them on a 46 gallon tank that has a bad hair algae problem and this is the third week or so and it appears that this week the pellets are making a dent in the amount of algae present. No alteration has been made in my water change routine or changing out any bulbs.
  9. What is in the first pic (ice fire?) and the third pic?
  10. After about 1.5 weeks, I have also noticed increased skimmer production, less glass cleaning, and a little better coral coloration. I have been using biodigest and continue to do so and have also seeded with MB7 to try and diversify my bacteria population.
  11. In Springfield, I think there is one off of Backlick Rd. where Burger King is located, not sure if its called Grand Mart or what. I think it is in the location where a Hechinger or Lowe's was located. I just make sure to check the ingredients to make sure there are no preservatives or salt added, just plain.
  12. You forgot to add that most people who are members of an aquarist club are also weirdos....
  13. You can contact Marvin VandeLinde on the D-D Aquarium Solution sponsor forum on Reefcentral for Deltec spare parts.
  14. My millis seem to win all the battles.
  15. My peppermint shrimp have managed to reach inside small caves where my copperband cannot go to help me eliminate my aptasia problem.
  16. I think they are much easier to keep and grow than SPS but getting the optimal coloration is something I have not quite figured out yet.
  17. With respect to the unknowns, I would guess austera (BRK unknown #1), granulosa (BRK #2), and tenius (Dr. Mac unknown). I have one just like the Dr. Mac unknown and it had the darker brown polyps until I put it in a high flow area and then all the polyps turned translucent like yours in the foreground. Funny thing is that when I was not treating it right, its body color was just a pretty deep dark blue without contrast.
  18. Tried to send you a PM but your box is full?
  19. I was just at Animal Jungle last week and they are starting to try their hand at selling higher end corals (chalices, orange-green scolys, acans). Nothing earth shattering there but some decent stuff. When they have sales on certain livestock I have found them to be pretty good deals with the prices at about 50% off of what I can get around here normally. My fish survived the 4 hour ride home. There is also another small chain of stores called Care-a-lot Pet Supply that I was told about by a local reefer down there, one in Va. Beach on Diamond Springs Rd. and another in Newport News off of Oyster Point Rd. I was impressed with their fish selection but not with their coral selection. For instance, they had a couple of Tono's fairy wrasses (Cirrhilabrus tonozukai) for sale that I have not seen in any stores around here.
  20. I meant the pic after the pic with the nuc green and purple death palys. I wanted to guess and say it looked like an ice fire enchinata but was unsure.
  21. I have heard problems with flame angels but not flame hawks.
