I don't know if this will help, but I'm getting 2 tanks (45L and 55L) and a black steel stand back. They are the heavy duty and can withstand much use. One has been nicely modded for a corner drain. Both fit together on a compact black steel frame. The smaller tanks blue back wall paint is coming off but otherwise everything is sound. If this would interest you please LMK. I would be glad to donate it to Kennedy- Krieger as they've done so much for the Down's Syndrome community!

My 1 larger Turbo damsel has snuck up and bit me! Aggresive little thing! BUT you can put him in its place by wiggling your hand quickly.

Just a really wild thought- and I'm NOT an expert in reefing- BUT who cleans off the fingerprints on the tank and what do they use to clean them off? Is it done at night by a cleaning crew???

You may want to consider placing a large lightweight piece of semi-rigid plastic behind the tank. The walls do take a beating fron water splashes, drips, runs and the salt creep. Something like the plastic from a poster picture might work depending on the tank size. Recently I used a ceiling panel against my wall... it was what I had! HTH.

Prepare? Send the kids out to play in the rain! Fill up the rain barrels! Make and eat some cookies! I have 2 battery backups that lasted 3 days last time. Don't forget to add a tube/cylinder over your airline tubing to create water movement. As for the rest of the day, our family will be canning peaches and will be very grateful for the cool weather as canning really heats up the kitchen!

I reused mine and rinsed for 1/2 hour in a bucket outside with tap water then used Prime and reseeded from my other tank and live rock. The tank then sat up and running for a week and then livestock was added with no ill effects. No bristleworms survived the washing. HTH.
