  1. Pricey, but: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Fasade-4-ft-x-8-ft-Waves-Vertical-Decorative-Wall-Panel-in-Gloss-White-S74-00/203867131 and you can choose a slick color. Or just look up PVC backsplash panel on the HD website.
  2. Best non-rusting handled scraper I've used. http://www.thatpetplace.com/multi-tool-algae-scrapers?sc=10&category=1431
  3. In regards to a filter for a bigger tank, have you considered a sand filter? Many public aquariums still use them for their fish only tanks. Lots of filtration in a small space.
  4. Maybe a spaghetti worm. Or a monster from Pacific Rim.
  5. $125 for a room is decent, but don't forget the 14.5% hotel tax. Also commercial parking lots have an 18% tax. Just a heads up.
  6. Not sure if mentioned already but I think a Mr. Aqua 12 gallon bookshelf tank would be pretty slick there, also cheap to light. Not sure how tall you can go, but look into GLA tanks. Another option would be to go custom acrylic. Several sponsors here have sales to utilize leftover cuts.
  7. How about the mesh that 'sleeves' of garlic come in? I made a queen bee marker with that stuff - but that is a different discussion/forum lol.
  8. Is East Coast uni any different then West Coast? Other than the accent?
  9. Local p/u available? Although I don't want to scare your mom again.
  10. Haha! My username is just a shortening of my parent's farm name, Pheasant Run Farm. Currently home to beef cattle, chickens, and honey bees. I could have gone with PRfarm, but as we are Puerto Rican (any of those in Long Island?), I thought it was a bit campy. Sadly we have no prunes, or dried plums as they are called now.
  11. To piggy back on that, and by no means do I mean any disrespect, does anyone else see the irony in Paul B's last name? Obviously what you are doing with the tank is working, but please change the grandkids more than 5x a year. No feeding of blackworms either!
  12. Definitely some REALLY nice stuff there.
  13. Could you shim the top slightly so that condensation would run to back or front and drip off into tank?
  14. The ONLY place to go in Lancaster lol.
  15. Goes into my washing machine. You could also use the waste water for a FW Cichlid tank.
  16. Before I broke the tank down, I used a Hydor Slim Skim and was very happy with the performance.
  17. Marine Corps Marathon is 10/27. Stay away from the city that day.
  18. Looks like it leaves glass frosted. 00:40 mark.
  19. Just read this thread for the first time. Beautiful tank all around! Also nice to know of another Boricua in the area!
  20. Can you reverse the legs so the screws are on the outside? That way you could fashion a piece of eggcrate to fit until the LED upgrade?
  21. Well, if I set up a nano, I know where I'm going. Actually, you could probably throw frags to New Market. lol.
