  1. Just try playing w/ the white balance first. If you don't have the software to modify images, NEF/RAW won't help you right now.
  2. There should be a setting under white balance w/in the menu screen where you can adjust the Kelvin that you are photographing. I would play around with that.
  3. Wonder if an "El Cheapo" from Harbor Freight would do, b/c eventually any saw will rust do to the salt water. Dremels with diamond bits work well for acans also, b/c you can work around heads.
  4. I think it's a teeny hermit crab. Looking at pics, it appears that squat lobsters have eight 'visible' legs. Hermits appear to have six 'visible'. It also looks like the body is curled under itself in a curly q fashion. I would try to find a tiny shell, and see if it hops in. Now if it is a hermit crab, you would have no idea if it is a reef safe one until its an adult.
  5. I've read the Hydor Nano Slim Skim fits in chamber 1 although it's a very tight fit. W/ top off stock Tunze 9002 , w/ top on use Stevie T cup. Aquaticlife 115 - mixed reviews. I have the Hydor Nano Slim Skim, I used it on my 30 M tank. The skimmer is supersilent, and works very well. It also uses very little wattage, so no extra heat. HTH.
  6. I'm in New Market, but my tank is certainly not tour worthy.

    skimmers?

I use the Hydor Nano Slim Skim, and I think it;s doing a heck of a job. It's also completely silent.
  8. Yep, Stomatella. Check the glass of your tank at night, you might see a bunch. If not, you will congrats!!
  9. Love it!! Esp. the maxis.
  10. Not AIO, but have you looked at micro-reefs dot com?
  11. Well, for fish only systems, I think bioballs are ok and many still use them. Reef - different story. I have been very successful, as have others with the fuge/skimmer route. Just to help us help you, please advise what you plan on keeping in the tank. Don't fret, you'll get pleny of help on this site.
  12. Hmmm... If I was at that bar, me thinks my focus would be a little fuzzy too.
  13. From my experience the isolated 'island' rock will not stop the spread.
  14. +1 Unless you want a tank w/ nothing but blue cloves.
  15. I got some great stuff for great prices yesterday. I don't know who the WAMAS member is, but I did buy several things from that section. Being a maxi mini addict, I was glad to see that shipment in! Most vendors had very reasonable prices. I left w/ multiple pieces from various vendors.
  16. They are probably just finding an appropriate home. You'll know that they are fine when you start seeing huge mounds of sand in one area and bare glass in another.
  17. Funny, I was thinking the same thing. There aren't too many good options for 'tweener' tanks like my 45 cube.
  18. I take a break from the d@%n Caps game, and see this beautiful tank being sold. This world is going to crap. GLWS.
  19. Looks like snail eggs to me.
  20. GSAAuctionsdotgov That would be great if you could give the public a chance to look down on the clams!
  21. AKA strawberry anemone? I've heard both sides, but I've never had an issue with them.
  22. Forgot how big the tank was, but how about Garabaldi?
  23. I used to have one. It was the best fish I never saw.
