Hello all, I have Veterans day off for work and was looking for a nice reef store to visit with my son. He is 4, so he has no interest in corals, but he loves to check out fish and inverts. I am looking for something in the beltway region outside of the stores I usually go to (Marine scene, BRK and Reefescape). Let me know if you guys have any recommendations. thanks, Darren

I have a large tank that I am going to fill soon and am wondering if I should use RO or just fill with tap water and treat for chlorine, etc.......then use RO for top off.....any thoughts / recommendations? Thanks, Darren

I purchased pizzaguy's 150 dd (a great guy to deal with) and am thinking of adding a euro brace to it since I plan on putting a canopy on it....has anybody ever tried this before? Any recommendations? Thanks, Darren

I thought about this, but felt that the flow was a little too low for my application.....also, I would run this continuously and was afraid that the tubes would wear out quickly..... Darren

So I purchased the jabeo 12000 dct....I will let everyone know how it works.....ideally I was looking for a DC pump to have greater control over the flow rate....ime pumps do not act linear at high head pressure, which makes it difficult to manage flow rates....I also have a mag 12 or 18 that I can use as well if needed. This pump will be used for my zero edge tank that is only 20 gallons.....I will get a tank build thread up soon..... Thanks for all of your input, Darren

Hello, I was wondering if anybody had a pump recommendation for a low flow high head pressure application. Specifically, I am looking to push a small amount of flow through a quick disconnect tubing from my basement to my living room. I estimate about 8 feet of height pressure not including pipe loss. I don't want a lot of flow though as my return is going to be 3/4 tubing. Thanks for the help, Darren
