  1. This filter is amazing. Cost 30$ but when I use this in my rodi setup I produce 0 tds before my di chambers. I have a low tds coming into my house to start but I have never seen 0 tds before my di with any other sediment cartridge. (Sorry to stray from the topic)
  2. Maybe they will offer a discount if you show up to the register with a bent pipe HA! (Enter sarcasm here)
  3. Thank you as far as the patio. That project is going to be the death of me haha 3 pallets of stone, 10 tons of stone dust, an 8" deep hole with some vibrating plate tamper action, 100% by myself. Well my 3 year old has helped a little.
  4. They sell hanging wire at Lowes or Home Depot's . You may have to drill your own holes in the light but they have different gauge wires to choose from if you need to get creative.
  5. I should have uploaded these pictures to a web sharing site~ This is what I used to mount my pipe to my stand. I used 1/4" hardware to blot through my stand. I wouldn't trust wood screws.
  6. This is the type of anchor I used for installing inside the pipe. I want to say I had to wrap some electric tape around the expansion part so it was snug going into the pipe. One it was snug and I knew I had enough thread popping out to blot my half inch pipe to the end I secured it and then filled up the pipe with a a small mount of epoxy so I felt o little better about the anchor not pulling out
  7. My apologies, I got busy working on my patio this weekend and forgot about this. So I do not have a link for the exact one I used. I bought three sticks of 1/2" rigid pipe from lowes in the electric dept. It's a thicker wall pipe and does not flex at all with the fixture I use. Which currently is only a 36" four lamp ati with a 36" xho led mounted to it. While I was at lowes I used one of their 3/4 bender (because for 1/2" rigid that's what you need) to bend my 90s. A friend just tried doing it and was stopped for insurance purposes so be sneaky about it haha. I attached a picture of my patio just because
  8. Genius, no. Master Electrician yup I'm at work, I will get some measurements and get back to you tomorrow.
  9. Here is how I extended my 90s when I had a bigger fixture. I put a drop in expansion anchor inside of 1/2" rigid. Once it was set in place I filled that void with epoxy just to make sure the thread would not pull out then drilled a crossbar and bolted it onto the end of the pipe.
  10. Keep your eye out. Every couple weeks you will see them for 50.
  11. Blue ribbon was two years ago. Maybe they still are http://wamas.org/forums/topic/73205-deltec-dealer-again/?do=findComment&comment=655836
  12. I look forward to seeing your rock scape! I don't think you can see it from the mobil imgur site but from the desktop site there is a forums link on each image so pictures will post. From my Iphone I just see a link that I have to follow to see your images.
  13. They have branch circuit monitoring systems you hook up at the panel and they monitor how ever many circuits you want through small ct boots. They get expensive quick though. Having a monitoring system though you could look into how much current is being pulled and get notified if there is low or high current running through each individual circuit using set points. Also as the current slowly rises you could start to determine when the pumps need cleaned out as an added bonus.
  14. They can heal up in my experience. Make sure your calcium and alkalinity are in check and try to feed them some mysis shrimp. To feed I turn off all my pumps and use a turkey baster to lay one or two shrimp on each head or lps pellets if you have them. If you do this at night you won't have to chase fish off from stealing the food. I usually feed mine about once a week.
  15. Hey Everyone! As some of you know I am now helping out with the TOTM and I am still trying to wrap my head around this feature and the process in which makes it work. There are two things I need your help with. Nominations & more Dedicated Tank builds/updates. There are a few members who get nominated frequently which I have reached out to but I have not heard back from them. I also know that we have some amazing systems out there but not as many people are keeping up with their build threads or have even started one. I also want to mention that this feature is not limited to the best tanks, equipment, or even a popularity contest. This feature can about the struggles you have had in the past or even which are having currently. It could be about a success, current plans you have in the future, or just to simply get to know some more of our members. So please take a minute to nominate someone or update your build thread. This is a great feature that in the end helps a lot of people learn about members systems and their do's and don'ts. I am also up for suggestions on how we as a group can help this feature continue on! Thank you!! Click here to nominate someone for Tank of the month! http://wamas.org/totm_nominate.php?do=add&category=
  16. Yes for my apex. I have a coupe leftover contacts and was wondering what I could do with them. I also considered an audible alarm in case my kids opened the doors. So far they leave them alone but it only takes one time for them to create a nightmare of multiple possibilities.
  17. That's pretty slick. I considered putting a security switch on my cabinet doors and running a loop through my breakout box to control an under cabinet light.
