  1. How much time is she thinking Will? I'm certainly not against doing it but was hoping someone a little smarter than me would jump in haha
  2. Sweeet! Thank you everyone in front of and behind the scenes who help keep this club moving forward.
  3. Thanks! I think those Millie's were brown when you came over. I have two that are really starting to pop with color now that I have my dosing somewhat stable. Seems every week I'm having to up the dose.
  4. This one Paul? If so it didn't make it. It started to die at the base right after I got it from you so I cut the top half off and eventually it died as well. This one started to rtn so i cut the top off, hopefully I saved it because I really like it
  5. Thank you all! I need to change my lighting Paul. I liked how my 36" didn't over spill onto my floor but I have a lot of dead spots because of it. Sooner than later i am going to start looking for a 48" 6 lamp fixture and start moving the zoas down low to make room for more sticks and it's all your fault!
  6. It is not the best but this was taken about a month ago.
  7. Just posting a few shots from today. I really need to add a cleanup crew but other than that everything still seems to be growing.
  8. I feed mine Fauna Marin lps pellets or pe mysis shrimp when I get the time.
  9. Welcome aboard! I'm about 15 minutes from you. You should check out Blue Ribbon Koi also. It's right down 234

  11. Glad to hear you are home and on your way to recovery.
  12. I ended up having some a couple years ago. I was unaware I had them until I started dosing vitamin C and amino acids and they exploded in growth. I reasearched them and the only thing I know that will kill them is interceptor for dogs. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK read up on it and make that call on your own I removed any crabs I had and crushed a whole pill up and mixed it in a solo cup with tank water to dissolve it and dumped it in. After that I took the collection cup off my skimmer and let it over flow for a couple days. After 3 days I did a 30% water change and put the cup back on. For a whole week I watched and nothing happened, they were all still there. A few days later I looked and most of them were gone. I did a follow up treatment 3 weeks after that and have never seen one again. To this day I don't know if the interceptor killed them or just everything they were eating so they just died of starvation. I know all my pods died and an emerald crab that I couldn't get out died. It did not effect my micro brittle stars or bristle worms. I also was very careful to just feed my fish the bare minimum to cut down on the xtra food floating around. One last time, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
  13. Some LPS in my experience can only handle but so much lighting. What intensity do you have your leds at? When I had black boxs after 45% on whites I would start to have issues with my acans, torches, and zoas.
  14. Blue led brings out a lot of flouresance in your corals. Some people like it some don't.. I get shimmer from my reefbrite strip but not like a radion or kessil gives people. Once my ati turns on it pretty much eliminates most shimmer. If you really want shimmer you should stick with led or consider metal halides. I run t5s because I feel it's healthier for my corals and it eliminates the shadows you get from led fixtures.
  15. I don't have any experience with them. You could always ask for an update. http://wamas.org/forums/topic/80170-euroquatics-e5-blue-pop-bulbs/?do=findComment&comment=704610
  16. Nothing wrong with them it's just not worth the extra bucks in my opinion when you can spend that on some led supplements and get that extra bit of pop.
  17. I would suggest non dimmable ati t5 fixtures. Then get a couple xho reefbrite strips to give you that extra pop. Have them come on first then your t5s to help simulate the dusk till dawn. Is this a fish only or a reef? I'm assuming reef because you want the dimmable.
