  1. Ghost tank . You can hear it (a ghost) around and about the middle of the video clip! Beside that too many fish and they probably have a huge sump w/LR!
  2. That's bite! Sorry man.
  3. Cool! 1 o'clock is it. Please pm address & phone#.
  4. Do you have a specific time frame? I can swing by and help between 1-2PM. I must get back to take my kids to a Bd party. Please LMK if you can coordinate that time frame.
  5. Put them on a fryer and have a weekend snack!
  6. looks happy for sure...
  7. Thanks, It got me very good. My tongue is still tingling.
  8. This morning, my power went out a about a minute. Coincidentally, my koralia pump on my nem tank stop working. So I pulled it out to clean it. test it and proceeded to pt it back into the tank. Luckily, my foot was on the home air vent (metal) and I got strong zapped. I immediately make some voltage and current measurements. So make it short, turn out the return pump (mag 7) is faulty. Got a 120v and nearly 3mA (not enough to trip the GFCI!)! Also, found that the protein skimmer pump registered @ 50V but only .05mA. I swapped out the mag 7 with a new one and retake the meter readings. current is @ .05mA and voltage is 50v (this is mostly from the skimmer pump, will probably need to replace it too!). No longer get zapped when I touch water while grounded! I also retest the faulty mag 7 in a saltwater bucket to confirm. Man, this is the first time I got good result from a power outage !!
  9. your're right! poor defendless guy doesn't have a chance! Saw it hanging out it's favorite spot today and hours later they attack it again and took out it whiskers too. I tried to catch it to move it to the sump but it got away deep into the rocks!
  10. That suck! Another killed by MP!
  11. sorry to hear!
  12. Most likely the float switch. You need to clean it once awhile. I had a similar situation awhile back. There is a timer settings inside the controller that supposedly shut down if it runs for x number of minutes! (I personally hasn't messing with it, but pretty sure someone here experience with it)
  13. I don't have the led fixture. But I have a t5 with 420nm bulb that make the light pink! maybe applicable to your situation too.
  14. Very interesting! Thanks
  15. It's the only shrimp in the anemone tank. I think either the velvet or lemonpeel took some nip at it when it molted.
  16. hope it happen soon! it has only 4 legs. I suppose I will have to target feed it until it grow all it legs and claws again! This one molted many times and usually hid away for a day or two. Just so unfortunate this time around!
  17. I read, dosing iodine promote molting. I don't dose iodine, but all mine shrimps/lobster molted once awhile.
  18. I have this coral banded for a while now. Today found it in corner of my tank with some of it's molted shell. I originally thought it was just molted shell, but closer look it the shrimp. Apparently, it molted and looks like something attacked it and took both claws and a couple of legs off. Poor thing! Hope it grow back quickly.
  19. Looks like this one: http://www.thatpetplace.com/Macrodactyla-doreensis-long-tentacle-anemone-213789?gdftrk=gdfV2226_a_7c268_a_7c6967_a_7c213789&ne_ppc_id=1463&ne_key_id=26454706&gclid=CPT07KKS4bYCFcJo4AodqV4AsQ
  20. Long tentacles?
  21. @ least you don't have to wait 2+ weeks for it!
  22. I want a tank that the others have! I'll never be happy with what I got. I guessed "the grass is greener on the other side" !
  23. How is your doing so far? is it as powerfully that need a variable supply to reduce flow? Sorry for hi-jacking but I think helpfully to know.
  24. Looks very nice!
  25. Thanks Jan, I pretty sure it's not gracileria but "cluster coralline algae" sound satisfying
