  1. It's happen to me all the time. Did you change anything? Give it time to build up. BTW did you mean SWC? Oh! you said 3 weeks! try adjusting the air tube!
  2. Congrats! Wow! We got so many babies within the last few months. Must have something to do with reefing!
  3. hmm! I couldn't get the dog gone xenia to grow in mine tank (I believed I have xenia eating green chromis ). Got 2 branches left in my fuge and they are not growing a bit for the past year! My Chaeto and other macro grew very slowly too in the large fuge. But grow much much more in the sump of my anemone's tank under the old freshwater light strip.
  4. Clean supplies with Water! Seriously, I just use regular water to clean all my aquarium equipment.
  5. Sorry to hi-jack your post! ah! found one of their patent. I supposed this is the reason why it's hard for them to pursue another company when someone else is breathing down they neck! http://glassbox-design.com/2011/ecotech-marine-patent-reexam/
  6. They have multiple patents pending?? Companies infringed on patents on daily basis. There are lots and lots of monies and yearssss involved (lawyers!!!) to settle.
  7. Tank looking good. Looks like hydroids or maybe feather duster. Can't see too well.
  8. Nice shots! Thanks for sharing.
  9. Nerite snail eggs?
  10. Check the return if it's lower than the water in DT, then that what cause it to flow back into you sump.
  11. Right on! possibly uses more power to run too.
  12. They are the same except the cord length. Longer (18 ft) cord is for pond use.
  13. Because it's endanger species. Drugs will harm human, but we're not on the endanger list!
  14. I would carefully cut around the outer cord way up the other end. Slip it back down and seal it with silicone.
  15. great video! hollywood stunner also have long sweepers too.
  16. Again! you have some serious skill there. Looking super clean. Not sure how noisy is your water fall, but I am a fan of waterfall noise. Great stress reducer!
  17. Looks like he totally recovered beautifully! Is he the only one in there now?
  18. +1 It's more appealing with a fancy name!
  19. looks pink and purple to me! Remember that tinny birdnest I showed you a few day ago? It looks very close to your when the colony was doing well. It probably come from the same people. I got the frag when a friend in Clarksburg break down his tank! It grow quickly into a colony and then... Almost completely wiped out with in 2 days!
  20. I recently observed a very interesting thing regarding the anemone in my tank. The first couple of times, I thought it might be coincide that the anemone is protecting the clownfish eggs since the eggs were laid next to the anemone. But a few day ago, I am very convinced that anemone not only a great host, it naturally protects the clownfish eggs as well. In many instant, I notice the clown eggs are always close proximity to the anemone. The last 2 times, the clown laid her eggs far away from the anemone, but within a few hours later it is right next to the eggs and partially covered the eggs. Many time I notice the clownfish nipping viciously at the anemone when the tentacles touch the eggs and yet the anemone remain in the same position until the eggs hatched and then moved away the next morning. here are pic of the host and tenants. Eggs are right underneath by the anemone foot!
