I just recently went through setup of G2's and Vortechs on the WXM. First I will say I am very happy but I have never used reef link. Make sure you have both your Radion firmware and Apex firmware up to date. If you don't you may experience the joy of missing link every day. I was furious for about two days sent a "nice" email to Apex and got great customer support. The programming aspect in fusion is pretty straight forward and simple. I love that I can change my vortechs from reef crest for most of the day to nutrient export around feeding time and constant at night. From playing with Reef link at QR I think the fusion may lack a bit of functionality on the radion side but it definitely meets my needs. If you decide to go the WXM route send me a PM with your email and I will forward the complete setup process I got from APEX. You can find it all on their forums but it isn't in one spot.

I do like the others but maybe I am missing part of your question. If it is blurry turn the focus which is normally the end where the eye hole is.

I cant remove mine without taking the side off the stand.

Another bonus of the sump will be adding to your total water volume making it a bit easier to keep water chemistry stable.

Oh yes mine does that all the time. He hasn't killed anything yet though.

I like going their cause they let me sit for hours on the couch. Oh and they are 2 minutes from my work.

Wow, glad your getting better. I only wear gloves when I know I will be handling my anemone which is almost never. On the other hand I normally wish I had worn gloves if I do any aquascaping. The rock just tears my fingertips up.

I think all reef octopus skimmers do that from time to time. I know mine does and it usually quits itself.

I have to ask, dont your pepermint shrimp eat them? Mine chow down anytime i add one to the tank on a frag or something like that. aiptasia no clue if they eat majano

I own a JBJ it is fairly quiet, I would say less then the sound of most window based AC's. Power use is noticeable but was acceptable for me. If you don't mind a suggestion I will tell you the one thing I changed that has made me disconnect my chiller. I switched from an internal return pump to an external. I now use the internal pump on my water changing station and I don't have to heat the water. If you still want to get a chiller and want used send me a PM if your interested n a used one.

I have a 150g from glass cages it is about 1.5 years old. It is well built IMO. In most of the posts I have read about bad experiences with them it was related to some sort of problem. I had no problems and everything went smooth. I should say that my tank isn't custom. It was just a normal tank they build.

Looking forward to hearing your opinion on them.

Honestly the only thing I can think of from your post is that your water is to clean. Anytime mine have receded it has been water is to clean (super low PO4 and NO3). Yours doesn't seem super low to me but here is what normal is for my LPS. PO4 .08 and NO3 10.

I'm with Jenn on just liking the way a sand bed looks in the tank. I also keep plenty of critters in the tank to keep it stirred up.

I voted sand but I do not include crushed coral in that vote. I used special grade.

Anything I am looking for seems to go fast, but I don't have the luxury of having tapatalk on hand while at work.
