  1. Can you get a first floor condo, or is it too late for that? Most the condo communities around here have homeowner associations which would never go for such modifications as an elevator. I am curious the style of this condo community. Sounds fancy shmansy.
  2. If you are not 100% set on that size, and willing to change dimensions slightly to be able to get a standard tank Deep Blue makes a 24x24x30 tank. Should be much more affordable than custom, and quicker timeframe.
  3. I need to get another tank. That will be my news years resolution. Thanks for helping feed the addiction Isaac!
  4. This thread was a bad omen for me. I found a leak in the union connection under my kitchen sink P trap that goes from the garbage disposal. Spent a while staring at fittings until a nice gentleman (not employee) helped find the right parts.
  5. Could you use a slip to thread PVC bushing to go from pipe to loc line? Like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lasco-438-210-1-50-Spigot-Reducer/dp/B004UHBMV0/ref=sr_1_18?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1510259672&sr=1-18&keywords=pvc+bushing
  6. The tank is too small for a normal anemone. You could do some carpet nems though probably. But to answer your question, I honestly don't know if it's powerful enough. I will say 12 LED's is a lot. I once had 24 LED kit from rapid and had an anemone in a 29gal tank. If I had to make up my own rule of thumb for LED lighting it would be 1 LED per gallon.
  7. Rapidled makes a nice Par38 bulb you could put on a gooseneck: https://www.rapidled.com/12-led-par38-bulb-mixed-color/ Instead of filter floss buy this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AHIOM8A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Maybe they could make an acrylic tinted tank out of the material? THAT would be awesome. I wore some at MACNA when it was in DC and they are really neat.
  9. DANG BRO! I was thinking first pic was tank now (which is awesome), then saw the second shot. Truly spectacular.
  10. Problem solved: https://www.aquaticwarehouse.com/t-5-lighting/ati-t5-lighting/ati-36-2x75w-led-4x39w-t5-led-powermodule
  11. tapcons are what you want to connect to the brick wall. tagging along.
  12. Maybe have the top perforated on the front and back above the T5's with something like this: http://www.perforatedsheet.org/product/plastic-perforated-sheet.html Honestly though, I feel when it is built it will be much bulkier than expected, and you won't be satisfied.
  13. What kind of clowns? I saw you mention $200 for the pair.
  14. Why not one piece of black out glass on a long end. Drill the bottom, and make it a peninsula. You could get a piece of black acrylic even, and wrap (or paint) the end and sides with black vinyl (or paint). Make it as complex as possible. That's the most fun for the rest of us. That's #1.
  15. Will this shop be open to the public?
  16. The cables can be had at bicycle shops a lot of the time. They are basically brake cables...
  17. The best part is you can narrow your search down to as little as a 2 mile radius. It's actually pretty use friendly, and appears to be well managed.
  18. I used FB marketplace for the first time this past weekend. I listed 3 bar stools, and within 15 minutes has TONS of legitimate inquiries. I was busy and made arrangements with a lady from Ft. Belvoir telling her to pick them up outside and leave money under front mat. She drove over an hour each way for 3 bar stools I was selling for $30. Money under mat. The others messaging with me were very pleasant and shared the positive feedback they had on marketplace. Definitely a nice resource. Also, you have the ability to SEE who they are etc prior to the transaction, which I like.
  19. That looks sweet Henry! That stand is a monster. The overflow on the end is really clean as well. If you paint the other side and back black it will disappear completely.
