My third stage is not getting water. I thought the ASOV was bad and thats why water was not going to the membrane. But as it turns out water flows if the filter is not in the canister, if the filter is in the canister water does not flow through the third chamber. I changed the filters about 2 months ago. Is it likely the filter is fully clogged?

Thanks Dave I tried that. I even tried running it without the canister on the unit. Everything was working fine yesterday. I was filling a 5gal bucket. CAme down about 1/2 hour later and only a little water in the bucket. Before that system working fine. I replaced filters about a month ago.

My RO/DI unit(I have the Air, Water, Ice Typhoon III) is not getting water to the last stage. I believe the ASOV is bad. Is there a way to check if it is good or not?

I am thinking about buying BRS GFO and Carbon reactor. They sell them in pairs and singular. Can you run Carbon and GFO in one? Or if I want to run both to I need to buy the double one?

I just switched skimmers. My old skimmers skimmate does not smell and did not pull out nearly as much as my new skimmer. My new skimmers skimmate smells like rotten eggs.

The pump is silent. The only noise from the skimmer is the water coming from the outlet.

I just upgraded my skimmer to a Otopus Super Reef 2000 Internal Model. I have only had it for several days, and it is still breaking in. I am happy with the quality. The bubble blaster pump is amazingly quiet. This thing is pulling out some amazing skimmate.

Something you may not know about Coral Hind. He is a great asset to this club. Has helped me numerous times when I have been in a bind, and heard he has done the same for others.

I bought a check valve that doesn't seem to work. I have asked around and have not found anyone who has had one that completely stopped the water flow. If you have please let me know where you got it from.

I have been having the same problem. my guess is that its because we are keeping the windows open more often. When it got colder and we closed them it was normal again. Now that it warmed up a little the last couple of days we have opened them back up.

I love my Air, Water and Ice Typhoon III.i would strongly recomend it. The price is good too. So is the price on replacement filters. I bought an ebay special, and it was hard to get replacement filters. I could only get mine from the guy I bought the filter from and they were expensive. So I switched to AWI Typhoon. Had I been a member of WAMAS at the time I would have bought it to begin with.

I have a Neptune Systems Apex controller. I originally started with the lab grade probe. That probe lasted about six months. Then bought the standard grade probe this one lasted about six months. These time frames are estimates. I got the apex in June of 2010 and have gone through two probes. Could I do something to prolong the life of the probe?
