I saw it in person the other day while picking up some delicious Thai. That thing is no joke, you would easily need a 150gal Rubbermaid tub to move it!!!

This is exactly what I am having to do this go around, as hard as it is. I haven't sold off my coral, fish, equipment etc. in the near 20yrs of being in the hobby. I have moved numerous times, some 5hrs+ away with coral, fish, etc. but in the end...It's a huge risk to take. This go around, mainly due to the fact it is cross-country, taking the risk just isn't there for me. I rather see the corals, fish, etc. thrive in someone's tank here, versus risking them in a very long distant transfer where I wouldn't even have an established tank setup once I got there. If I did have an established tank in place prior to the move, that's a different story, where I would just FedEx everything to the new place... Just something to think about. -Anthony

Just Fantastic! Excellent job!!

I love my Reeflo Orca. Never had an issue and It's very consistent. Even at a time when the 550gal system had ~55+ fish, fully stocked SPS, etc., never ran into issues. I'm also able to run the air-intake outside to pull in fresh air. Though its "big" its relatively compact in size. There's plenty of mods you can do just like any other skimmer, but I personally have not found I need to make them, as it runs great as it is. Great choice IMHO. -Anthony

Thanks everyone. Honestly, I never really touch the tank and just let the corals do their thing All i really do is scrape the algae off the glass...Haven't changed water since April (though not recommending this, just my neglect of being busy). I'm hoping to dedicate more time to the tank, as my schedule slows; which will involve a serious trimming Other than that, everything that's in my TOTM thread is still accurate regarding equipment, etc.. Thinking of changing out the halides for the new Kessil's though, hmmm... -Anthony

I never had any issues with the Reeflux, only the plusrites. Give it a week for them to burn-in a little. Yeah, they are awesome! I wasn't able to get the pair to standstill togehter for the photoshoot, but they get along great with the other 50 fish Yes, i do say its about time to thin the corals, as they are starting to grow together now; which is fine, but thinning can't hurt. -Anthony

From my experience, its not worth the time and/or money to try and fix....you might end up spending more money to fix it than a brand new tank costs. -Anthony

Thanks, Tom! B&Ws and Picasso's are 5 days old, so it will be a few months before they're ready. But yes, back up and running! Lol, yup! Only reason I bought it was because I saw it held water before, for an extended period of time -Anthony

I think my favorite thing is just watching the SPS grow-out and finally start to fill in the peaks and valleys naturally.
