  2. Interesting subject. One reason i joined was I have several Leather frags and Xenia frags that I need to get rid of every couple of months. Just have to be careful who they are offered to. But I do feekl most people would do the right thing.
  3. As usual I was gonna watch the tank with a flashlight. I do this several times a week. I could not believe my eyes. I saw a 3.5 inch long worm. It was about 0.5 inches wide. Cream color with a redish/pinkish stripe down its back. Just so happens that when I turned the flashlight on it was pointed right at it. It crawled pretty fast. So no chance of getting pictures. A bit suprised that I have never seen this before, as I view the tank with lights out often. Anyone got any ideas as to what it might be?
  4. Most of it broke off. Still crawling around.
  5. I have lost track of time doing this as well. I usually will watch the tank with a flashlight several times a week.
  6. No dusters missing. I did a google search "stuff coming out of linkia starfish" and "starfish guts" several people have posted the same question in other forums, but with no good answer.

  10. Due to space constraints i am considering upgrading to a 110 gallon display. I have been looking for pictures of other members 110. Or a build thread. !10 doesn't seem to be very popular. Anyone have pictures?
  11. I use a DIY auto top off. A pump attached to a float switch, pumps a kalk solution into my sump. This way kalk is added slowly several times a day, as water evaporates.
  12. Thanks for all the kind words. As to my $20, It already seems well spent. I did not realize that there were so many reefers in the area. My initial reason for joining was for information on upgrading. As I stated I Have been in salt water (Reef aquarium) for about eight years. Same tank for those years. I feel I am ready to upgrade. Looking to go with either a 110 or 90 gallon tank. Limited to width in dining room.

  16. I am not a fan of Superpetz. I have had poor service here many times. Later to find out that the person who gave me poor service with such a bad attitude was the owner. (Owned and run by husband and wife)
