  1. Saw one very similar to that in Baltimore two weeks ago. Very sweet looking piece!
  2. Older thread on another board, but will give you the basics, with some really cool *** pics. http://www.reef2reef.com/forums/f20/rhizot...typus-1866.html Another really cool thread I looked up: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...hreadid=1562561
  3. Me and a buddy heading up Friday AM as well. Planning to come back Sat evening.
  4. And I don't believe there is a spot. Last time I just added it to the notes, or special instructions. They never saw it though, and was told it will be applied on my next order. If you haven't placed your order yet, I need a couple of float switches. Holla
  5. Looks like a piece I recently acquired. I'll know for sure in a few weeks when it colors up completely.
  6. I've got a frag of the Grinch. Not sure what you would consider a decent sized frag, but this one is about 3/4" or so. Cut it about 5 weeks ago, so it is encrusting pretty good. I'll take a look when the lights come on for an exact size if you need it.
  7. I've got a good portion of that first list, and then some. I'd add the Purple Nana from ORA. It's starting to take off in my system and looks like it will be very nice when it grows out. Let me know when your ready, and we'll see about helping you out with that list.

    Salt

I was told by a sales rep for Brightwell that while other salts claim to make 150 gallons of water, that is based on 1.021 salinity. The Brightwell makes a true 150 gallons at 1.026, so your basically paying a little more, however to make the same 150 gallons with "most" of the other brands at 1.026, you need to have more salt, in fact quite a bit raising the cost of the other brands. Anyone documenting or even noticing any changes in the overall appearance of the corals, specifically the SPS? Sorry to the original thread starter if you feel hi jacked. :(

    Salt

Keep us posted Dave. I've considered making the change myself, but am waiting on more feedback. So are you having to touch the glass a lot less now?
  10. From what I gather it looks to be solely based on volume alone. 0.5-1 liter of pellets per 500 liter of system volume, and adding 100 ml of pellets every 3-6 months. Kind of sounds like zeolites to me however this dissolves over time. BTW, How is your doser working out for you? Anything to report, good or bad?
  11. Little birdy told me you were re aqua scaping. This all ya got?
  12. Look no further than our sponsor Air Water Ice. http://www.airwaterice.com/
  13. Not that you are wanting to go this route, but using the 3 key ingredients in the Brightwell Neozeo system [Zeo media, MB7, and Biofuel] will kill it off completely, and keep the nutrient levels in your setup at undetectable levels. Send me a PM if you would like more info.
  14. darn Doug, someone smash your head in a vice? Cool story. +3 on TOOL
  15. These kinds of threads are always funny to me. You admit to clearly breaking one of their rules, admit to be warned about it, admit to clearly breaking it, and you come on a smaller board to complain about it? The fact that they have on 2k members at any given part of the day, and they caught you breaking a rule is pretty impressive to me. No matter how petty you think the rule is, you agreed to abide by it by completing their registration. You choose to ignore it. Do you feel as though you are above their rules? I've had numerous PM's sent to me on this board with complaints from the mods, yet since 2005 I have never so much as had a PM from a mod on RC. Come to think of it I have never had a PM from a mod with a problem from me on ANY other fish/coral site. Go figure...
  16. Nice ******. The tank is nice as well!
