  1. I'm with you on that part, and that may need to be done "If" I get that far. This thing may be for sale by the end of the day.
  2. I sure hope it is all worth it. Worked on it till 3am and it still is not working. I'm not sure I get the whole username password. I changed those thinking I would need something a little more secure however I am not sure I have that part right. I ended up using 192.168.1.107 for the IP, and if I type that in to the browser I can get a box to pop up asking for the user name and password. Problem is it never logs in using the one I created. Is there anyway to force the unit to go back to factory settings? Free Grinch Monti to the first person who wants to give me a ring and see if they can walk me through this. Pretty sure I have all of the other settings done. I hope programming this thing is a lot easier than getting the darn thing to communicate with the PC/Router set up. I am very unimpressed with it so far.... PM me for a #
  3. I actually have the aqua notes version with a serial, but have not found where I register it using the serial. Perhaps thats my problem?
  4. Change my network setting to what? I don't speak Chinese?
  5. Picked up an AC3. Hooked everything up and connected the AC3 to a router. Spent the last three hours trying to get the computer to see the AC3 with Zero luck. Can one of you guru's get me up and running?
  6. Winner Winner chicken dinner.
  7. Not sure about fish, but I have three emerald crabs going to town on mine lately.
  8. Anyone in the club have this one? I haven't seen anything on this one since 07.
  9. Red Coris Wrasse makes easy work of the bristle worm, however anything placed on the sand will be over turned as they hunt for them. I experience this darn near daily.
  10. I've been running the MB7 for about 17 months. It is one of three products you need in running the Neozeo method of which I have been doing the same amount of time. The so called horror stories are just that, stories and a crock of crap. Lots of people have been using this product with great success not quite the way it was intended to be used, but all the better for Brightwell I suppose. When used with the Zeo media, and boosted with the Biofuel the combination is quite impressive.
  11. Just a word of advice from an expert in the field. A 2x4 on end apprx 3 feet long will support about 1300LBS. You entire tank will weigh less than 1000 LBS. One could possibly put an entire garage on Bobs stand including that elephant. Standard framing 2' on center is way more than enough for any tank. No need to get all crazy with it.
  12. Actually I haven't, but at those prices I would. I've typically ordered mine through either Hamilton, or the LFS's.
  13. I've noticed that people in this hobby tend to be a little over the top with trendyness. Just like this new trends with the aquascaping, the MP 40's, the cone skimmers, and the rimless tanks. [man are these good for the wrasses] I can understand the pillars in these new square tanks like the 32X32X30 [another trend] but some of the larger systems just look so un natural to me. Personally I've always thought there is a lot more to the coral scaping than the rock aquascaping. :2cents:
  14. I Love me some STEAK!
  15. You just need a small power supply AC/DC converter. I am using one from on old Link SYS router I had. I'm sure Radio Shack has one as well. You may need to do some checking around to find one. Fish Street says they won't have them until March.
  16. 1.025 to 1.026 - SPS dominated reef.
  17. Well I have only had it up and running about 5 weeks so far, but it works like a charm. Extremely easy to program. You set the amout you want it to dose, and the amount of times in a 24hour period you want to dose. The internal programming spaces out the intervals based on your selection. You can also dose at a specific start time, and have it do it during a period of time. An example would be to dose PH up when the lights are off. Dosing amounts seem to be spot on. I however have only tested at 5, and 20ML amounts. I tested as recently as this past weekend to make sure it is staying consistent, and see no change from my initial setting on day one. The main unit seems to be built very well, and the display is very easy to read and understand. I was also pretty impressed with the mounting hardware that comes with the unit. It's built from both clear and black acrylic with 3/8" material. It also comes with a bracket that attaches to the tank that holds the other end of the dosing tubes all made from acrylic. Because mine came directly from Hong Kong, I needed to get a power supply with the right plug ends. The stand alone unit comes with only three pumps which is fine for dosing a two part, or balling lite system. Because I am still running the Neozeo system, I put in an order for the extra unit with 4 more pumps. I'm still dosing a few things by hand everyday which will be eliminated in a couple of weeks. The unit is expandable to 11 total heads. I give the unit a 5 out of a possible 5 stars and am totally satisfied. If you have any other questions, shoot me a PM. Mark
  18. That would be Micro Bactor 7, or what we call MB7. I've been running it with great success for about 16 months, and lots of people on RC swear by it. The downside is you can't run UV with it, and with most of these ULNS type set ups they say not to run GFO either. I've been running the GFO with my system, but I have to keep the ALK around 7 tops, otherwise I get some tips on my SPS burning.
  19. and lastly, how old are your bulbs in the T5 fixture?
  20. Curious what GPH it is calling for through the UV? I've typically seen them right around 100GPH which is also what I hear for reactors. I'd also put the phosphate in front of the UV.
  21. Any chance you can take a picture of what your looking at?
  22. I'm using the new Bubble Magus BM-T01 . It's been compared to the Profilex[sp] unit, and or called a knockoff. While I haven't used the other brands, I am very happy with my unit. It's been up and running now about 5 weeks. It's very easy to program, and you can run up to 12 heads with an expandable modual which I just put in an order on.
  23. If this is a new system, yes. Need a few more details to be sure.
  24. Any chance it is one of the red crabs AQUACO, and or Pacific East had this past summer? Trying to remember where those were from.
