Sooo weeee! 4 holes tapped and 5/16 now replaces the 1/4 stock. The base plate is now threaded and ready for a good seal. As soon as I get grey for the riser pipe, glue and silicone everything together I'll start wet testing.

Difference in size

Sched 40 feed for the riser pipe, now I just need the riser pipe to be grey.

Custom sump and ATO container, Avast skimmate locker, Avast CS-1.5 external(pending) skimmer, Avast media reactor, Avast swabbie, (yes I crammed all of that under a 54 corner. The space next to the vortech controller is where my reef angel controller will go.

Closed stand and canopy with a close up of the rope design in gold on the canopy.

That stand/canopy combo looks really good! Looks like you've put in a lot of work in getting everything neat and orderly. Can't wait to see your progress!

  • 3 weeks later...

Almost there, most of the plumbing is done, I'm still SOL on lighting until I figure out what I'm doing wrong

Cna't believe I've crammed everything under there

Sump

UV sterilizer

External Avast CS1.5 skimmer

Avast skimmate locker

Avast ATO+ATO container

Avast dual media reactor

vortec box

cooling fan

reef angel and reef angel DC-8 device

switch pannel

all crammed under a realatively organized 54 corner stand

Dang looks great Jason! All that hard work has really paid off. When do you think it will see water??

Doing leak testing on the guts now, tank will hopefully see water before the new year is my goal.

I have always found it works well to empty it first :)

How about a moving party? I can come earlier than originally planned, but no truck.
