My buddy had a really nice ricordea mushroom coral. He's not very good at maintaining his tank though and the mushrooms have shrunken and turned brown. Is it possible for the coral to recover its colors if it gets better water quality and lighting?

I was thinking of getting this skimmer for a biocube HQI because the skimmer that comes with the HQI is terrible. Does anybody have any experience with the SR3 or any other skimmers that could work with a biocube?
