    I am trying to lower phosphates. I put some in, lowered, but need to go more, and out of reagents. GFO been in for 2 days now. Is it done? Regeneration is the next step in the process i guess, if you can at all.

    I got the wood doors, not the mdf ones. I sealed well and painted mine with enamel. Have not had any problems with, but been a little less than 2 years.

    It has been shown that there is more calcification during the dark hours. Seems it is energy generation/storage during the day, deposition and growth at night.

    Don't know that area well as I'm in VA, but welcome to the club. FYI, all the FS stuff is in the member forums, so becoming full member has plenty of privileges! Good luck with the move. Bringing livestock? Also another club in MD, a little smaller than us, CMAS. May have some members closer to you there. We share a number of members between the 2 clubs.

    I did as part of the old ray tray, and the atlantic reef, but more as work crew, not the "vacationing" crew. So I scrubbed algae and fed fish with squirt bottles. Fun still. Some of the triggers made me a little nervous biting at the end of the bottle with those big chompers. Do you dive the black tip reef as part of this too?

    ORA gave me a cool mousepad of the "nugget" at the unveiling at MACNA. I agree, not as enamored with the burn victims they call designer clowns, but these are pretty cool and gorgeous in person.
