  1. Seems there is a constant progression in challenges. Not necessarily harder each time, but changes nonetheless. Next stop, breeding!?! Just always consider yourself a noob, and you will always be open to learning something.
  2. Lets buy Shane a beer at Macna and get him to talk! Going shane?
  3. macna2013.com still has day passes are $60 now for fri and sat. My guess you will still be able to get day (speaker and exhibit hall) at the door, but wouldn't count on it. Fri social might not be much, so we may not attend for long as it is just hors'deouvres. Sat gala dinner much bigger deal that you don't get with day passes $99 one way dc to ft lauderdale on jet blue right now.
  4. As you can see, I already did the "fix" for the shadow (i forgot....)
  5. going custom. Like $40, but that is $30 in piece of mind.... I will put it in the grant app..
  6. remembered that, kind of why I asked the question thinking of cutting a t-shaped piece of acrylic, maybe that would be able to grab enough of the old frame.
  7. I did the same for my 65, for the shadow. But the crack is right along the edge, so there is little to glue to.
  8. Did you not get a center brace on the replacement, or did you do the custom. I dont see a 30 x 12 with the center frame. I hate to spend $40 for the custom...
  9. Post up pics/suggestions of your center brace fixes. Plastic on mine broken on one side. Looking for ideas to fix a school tank. I have pulled the tank out of Cedar Lane Elementary in Ashburn and am putting the tank in Purcellville at Emerick this year. Need to do maintenance while it is dry. Tank is a 65 gallon, 30 inch long tank
  10. Post up if you are going down to FL for MACNA. Vendor, member, or just tagging along. We want to know who and how many. I know Craig, Tom, Dave Lin, and Carla (+1) are coming. I know some vendors were thinking about it. Hope to see as many as possible there. Doug

  13. Thanks to all that helped out. We probably do need more space for the 225+ that were there yesterday. Sorry to those that had to jump from line to line and would certainly accept all suggestions and volunteers. We certainly want to find a way that makes everyone happy and be fair. I would rather be standing on the other side of that table, trust me! We will make sure we have more tile saws available next time. We had so many corals donated last minute we were not able to keep up. We gave out over 1600 frags yesterday!
  14. We need lots of clean water to house and bag all the frags we will be creating. i.e., everyone bring some!!
  15. anyone who can, bring 5-10 gallons of made up saltwater. Small price for all the frags! See Chip's posts regarding sales and the meeting. Space is limited.
  16. Sustainable Aquatics sells wholesale to the trade only. Rob, send me pricing on the blues?
