  1. If you want to go bigger PETCO is doing their $1 per gallon sale. It's 50% off for the larger tanks, so a 40B costs $50. 75g is $100. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  2. https://www.marinedepot.com/marine-depot-elite-overflow-box-w-holesaw-drill-bit-small This kit even includes the bits it appears. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm going to be running (tank isn't wet at the moment) a 20 long sump with an eBay baffle kit and a jebao dc return. I forget which model. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  4. I have some of the drill bits. Some kits come with them too. Mine was purchased from Petco as well. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  5. I recommend getting an overflow and drilling the tank personally! It's super easy and it sure beats having equipment hanging off the tank. Drilling a tank is intimidating but it's really not bad if you go slow. Just make sure the tank glass isn't tempered. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  6. Looks like an awesome setup. Though I'm partial because I'm a 40B guy too.... Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  7. Probably pretty obvious but did you take out water to compensate for the water the rock displaced? Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  8. Are you calling us old?! Haha Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  9. Looks like a vertebrae to me. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  10. You definitely should. I still look at some of my older build threads for nostalgia and a bit of humor, but it's always nice to be able to see and show off your success. Additionally, people may notice something you missed or provide advice that is specific to your tank. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  11. Not to thread jack but I'm curious why that is?.... Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk
  12. I dismantled a 20 gallon once and separating the silicone between the panes was a PITA. I can't imagine something that large.
  13. There's a few for sale on Facebook
  14. Oh no! Sorry to hear!
  15. Didn't even know my membership had expired! Wow, can't believe it's already been a year. Anyhow. I was just looking for some leads as far as online merchants. Sorry if this thread was misguided. I'll be renewing my membership shortly.
  16. Awesome, thanks all!

  23. Looks awesome!! Really coming along quickly. Is that the final resting place of your tank? I only ask because it might mess with the heating/cooling of your place that close to the thermostat.
  24. Exactly what I was thinking. You could toss one of those fireplace inserts in there! The stand looks awesome though!
