  1. I need to try feeding the worms different foods good idea.I have soaked them in selecon long enough to get some in their system just before feeding
  2. Don't beat yourself up about the bubble A. I'm pretty sure all it takes is one microscopic seed pod for the bubble algae to come in. i think it's just a matter of time before my newer tank gets it
  3. Double, and triple check your salinity device. What are you using and do you have calibration fluid?
  4. Yea it is new to the tank. Glad they desensitize. Seems like a lot of work and stress on it to flinch all the time
  5. This clam is in a busy area. The video doesn't really show but it has to retract a lot from fish swimming overhead. Moving it isn't really an option because I want it in a visible area and it needs good light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onvgMR_PORI
  6. Yea I'm worried that's their juvenile state and it will be a nearly black fish......
  7. Will the springers lose the color as they get older?
  8. Happened to mine. Take the carb bowl off dump out and put back on. Watch YouTube videos if you don't know how easy peezy.
  9. things will have to get incredibly bad in order for our corals to be put back in the ocean. Scientist don't want them back in the ocean due to pests/species from other parts of the world being introduced. Imagine Florida SPS coming down with the flatworms can't dip that!. Or pyramid snails introduced to new area. A wamas speaker had briefly mentioned this a couple years ago.
  10. Knew this was coming because of your dedication. Thank you and congrats!!

  15. Don't fret. Mine have stayed closed up for over a week. No reason.
  16. The green tank quickly turned to red massive cyano outbreak. Wish I would have snapped a pic. But anyhow tank is not ready for the more sensitive sps. Currently there are some but not a lot dinoflagellates irritating stuff. Bought my first clams!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. So envious that thing would look great in my living room
  18. I vote no. I try raising mine and I always end up with green hair or lots of cyano. My coral colors are great at near zero. The problem I had was the color enhanced photos on websites like Jason fox and world wide corals. Giving me unreal expectations. I believe it is difficult to reach the point where corals are starving for phosphates. The only time I have believed cases of it is where the tank is extremely mature and has a massive amount of coral growing end to end (pizzaguys old tank) and a case where there was two underfed damsels in a well established 75g system. I have fish that crop dust coral and MP 40s that grind it all up for easy absorption before it even has time to be filtered
  19. Look great. ORA joe the coral? Acro valida? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Wow those goniopora are thriving! What are you feeding and how often?
  21. I have one yellow tail damsel in my 125. It doesn't bother anyone or anything but it is also the smallest fish in the tank. I bought it because the yellow tails are suppose to be less aggressive than the others.
  22. I'll show you mine if you show me yours
  23. Bumpskis wamas is going clam crazy with a clamazing speaker coming to town. Would love to also love to hear how the business and tank is doing.
  24. This has got to be one of my fav SPS I have owned. I have 3 and they put on all different colors probably depending on placement. Sexy as heck please post a pic if you have one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
