    Thanks Rob! This could be a great business idea if there is an easy process to remove salt from skimmate! but then there is another issue of collecting enough to justify!

    I am just curious to see if there are ways to remove salt from skimmate. I think skimmate would make great plant fertilizer! Let say, if a dump it in a hole along with compose over time, will it be safe enough for house plant?

    How about 55G rain barrel drum? I seen them on CL once awhile. Pretty sure they sell them locally.

    I used a table saw with fine blade on quarter inch and half inch plexi.

    I would pull it out and clean it, check the impeller. They are usually pretty quiet.

    Neither! whacked it with screw driver handle and use pump to clear them up !

    PJs are slow swimmer. Try catching it at night! I have a trap you can borrow! but PJs are so timid that they won't go near a trap.
