i am starting to dose vodka with the BRS 1.1ml
i want to start with 0.3 ml (gonna do it all at once for the moment since its so small)..so i need to run it for 0.3/1.1= 0.27min=16seconds
will this work for my week 1 program
Fallback OFF Set OFF If Time 10:00 to 10:01 Then ON Defer 1:43 Then ON
so my understanding is that it will actually pump from 10:01:44 to 10:01:59
oh hmmm then ignore my previous post..
try connecting it to a wall outlet...not an apex port and see if the actnic stays on continuously for a period more than 5-10 minutes
ok if it stays on for 5+ minutes...then switch back the control to light
and set fallback to off
on time to 12:00
off time to 20:00
shutdown probe to temp
device shutdown value to say 85
hysterisis to 020:00
goto configuration-> outlet setup
set control type to Light ( on the outlet you have connected it to) try and avoid 4 and 8 so u can use them for something that needs them
use Fallback OFF
set ur on time and off time , you can use a shutdown probe as temp and set it to shut down if the tank temp gets too high (should not happen) but if it did then at least ur halides aren't adding more heat until u remedy the issue at hand
because my sump is separate ..I just need to lift the lid off the cabinet and I have all the room to take it out...only problem is with the sump cabinet lid down...that when my room is less.
I am looking to get a skimmer with a swabbie but the height of everything should be less than 22"
the swabbie needs 2.75" above the lid so I guess I need a skimmer that's about 19" in height upto the lid.
currently have an ATB 840 (awesome skimmer) but I don't have room to add the swabbie since the skimmer is 21"
tank is 135g sump is 50g
thanks !
i think the best way is to keep livestock healthy and stress free
they can combat minor ich outbreaks on their own that way
a major outbreak needs qt etc..keep the yellow tang in qt..copper i beleive
raise the overall tank temp to 80-81 in the DT..and monitor them ...since they have been in their established environment they may just be ok without any further needs to qt them.
i think i remember reading that for ich to die out of the system the tank needs to remain uninhabited but like 6months ... i have never gone this route tho...i find it unnecessary unless the situation is out of control
was the yellow tang being harassed by anything ?...you may have already had the ich thing in the water column and because the fish was stressed it targeted it
apex is testing the load to multiple devices before they launch fusion...the token which is now on everyone's dashboard (provided they are on the more recent firmware) is probably some kind of authentication/heartbeat alive thing
they are planning on adding more beta testers next week per a post from Terrance their vp ....still no launch date for fusion though
if you are comfortable with programming and want open source for complete control...then go reef angel
the only other good system is the apex but it doesn't fit what you have described and is not open source...but will do a lot as well
2 mp40s would be a bit much for an 80
have u considered the jebao pumps....i have mp40s now and I am going to try these jebaos which are much more similar looking to the tunze at a much much lower price
ur tank would be ideal for 2xWP25s and that will cost u like 130 shipped for both...i saw few on ebay that were doing it at that price.
if money isn't a factor...then 1 MP40 and 1 MP10 will probably do ok too....
that settles it then...more jebao 25s...it is
i really wanted control from apex so i can setup different modes throughout the day ...
i am hoping the fusion makes it easy to set multiple modes for even the jebao with ease...we will see i guess
thanks all
I plan on getting 2 wp25s also ...and I can keep them as backups or add the third to the tank for more flow in corners... may end up getting a used tunze for 150 with apex cables and the jebao wud be 70 plus the cable for apex close to 90-100.......not too far off if I can get more reliability /control from the apex fusion and tunze setup
I am considering what you have said too tho...decisions decisions!
