  1. Hi Anyone know what the name of the Vendor that was selling the blocks of material that they had in a sump under their skimmer. you had to buy it from Pop Coral, I am trying to find the name so I can see if I can buy one as they where out when I went to Pop Coral, and I lost the name of the product. thanks
  2. great!! i was just in the one in Clinton today and they did not know when it was going on.
  3. sounds Great, that lets me know where to go for fish.
  4. i will keep an eye on this one, I am also planning out a 300 gallon system as we finish our basement.
  5. +1 on that, you will get a whole bunch of them with that trick.
  6. hi shoelace, thanks again for the chiller. The ATS will splash so you should build a splash card or a box for it. I have placed my ATS before the Skimmer and after the Skimmer and have found that both work, you will need something for the micro bubbles, depending on your design it could be a little or a lot. I love my ATS that i got from Turbo. Good luck with the ATS.
  7. I am in Clinton MD, and the Petco here is great. the selection is outstanding and they are always trying to order a variety of different fish and even corals. The guys who take care of the tanks all (except 1) have saltwater tanks. The ICH issue at Petco is a pain but in the Clinton store they now have a tank that is on a separate system for sick fish where they can treat them. Not all Petco's are alike and you have to go in and talk to the people who work in the fish department to find out how well your Petco does.
  8. I did not know the yellow coris would eat vermatid, I have a whole bunch growing in my tank. you are building my dream tank. Good job, will be tagging along so i can get some tips.
  9. I used the GFO without the sponges and it all escaped into my tank and killed my yellow tang!! I also have a problem with the GFO tumbling so I may try just one sponge on top.
  10. I know that the one in my area stared Sunday.
  11. No he did not retire, he was out of football for 2 years but now has a shot to play for the panthers.
  12. mine is a nod to my brother who played for Green bay Packers so Packman and his number was 90
  13. Great light, I have had mine for about 4 months I think. I have one over a 4 foot tank and the edges are a little bit darker, but I have soft corals on the ends and they are doing great. I want to upgrade to a bigger tank and will buy another one when I am close to making the tank purchase.
  14. I have the Evergrow IT2080, it just makes it but leaves dimmer area on the outskirt of the tank. I would go with two Evergrow IT 2040's as they are programmable. but they would have to be mounted so would not work for you. I also did a DIY from Rapid and had good growth but it was just blue and white and I wanted to add more color. hope that helps a little.
  15. I can add to that, I have ordered from them quite a bit and can say that they have gotten better and better with there stuff. I mostly order CUC and Inverts from them along with Coral and have no complaints.
  16. Just one comment, besides the Tangs the tank is great I love all of the coral you have in it.
  17. that is great!!! I applaud everyone who gets into breeding. Good luck.
  18. I was just there over the weekend and got a GBTA, it is doing great and my set of clowns have now found it and seem to have hosted it. Roozen's is what it is but I have so far gotten a mandarin and the GBTA from them and have nothing to complain about.
  19. remove the lenses, other people have had them burn (no Fire) and darken a lot. once you remove them you will see a big improvement.
  20. Hello IT 2080 owners, I am trying to set up my layout for the evergrow group buy 4 and would like some help from people who have already made their purchase and have seen their choices in action. can you show me your layout and tell me how you feel about it. A picture would be good too. thanks for your time, Marlon
