    so are you happy with the skimmer?

    if you get those large furniture movers...the size of a small plate and place them under each corner...it would slide without a problem. Just have someone tilt it slightly to get it under the corners and you should not have a problem.

    that tank is awesome......i got to come out there and take a look at it soon.

    is there a way to tune it? The reason I ask is when i first got it, it pulled out a lot of gunk. Now it is barley pulling anything out. I cleaned out the maxi-1200 and ran it thru a vinegar bath and its still not pulling what it was in the beginning.. Thanks... eric

    I would also suggest that if your looking at the 150 // upgrade it to the 180, gives you more depth to work with.

    have you thought of the Reeflo 200 // its right around your $600 mark. It looks like an excellent skimmer. I am thinking about getting that when i upgrade my tank. Plus you can always upgrade that skimmer if your needs arise.

    i have one in my 75 for almost 2 years....never seen him nipping at anything other than the rock, but he does like to sit on my corals though...

    i have a 75 gallon reef with t-5 bulbs....mine are on the sandbed about 21 inches down...no problems...

    I am in the process of planning an upgrade to my tank. The only place that the new tank can go gets some direct sunlight for about an hour in the morning time. Will this affect the tank in anyway? Input would be appreciated. Just wondering if I need to put some tint/window film on the upper windows in my house to deal with the sunlight.. eric
