  1. well i did find a use for the possible eggs...they attract the bristle worms. I was able to catch 6 big ones tonight...while they were snacking on the eggs...
  2. I just saw my lawnmower blenny look like it was laying / fertilizing eggs. what do you think. I only have one blenny in my tank so i have no clue about who it has been shacking up with. anyone have any ideas...

all i can say is ROAD TRIP anyone....
  5. I have 7x54watt t-5 and am running about the same +- 1 hour... have been for years...no issues... eric
  6. I was afraid you were going to say by hand...might have to make a trap. it would be a pain to be in the tank every night... thanks.. eric
  7. how did you get them out....i think they are to big for normal traps..i had to put on several latex gloves and pulled those out...
  8. I have been pulling some large bristle worms out of my tank lately. Is there anything that might eat them.
  9. sorry bout that...i thought you were showing pics of all the corners...not just multiple angles of one seam. Glad it was only that small part... now...its been over 24 hours...is it wet yet...
  10. thats true steve....but I would rather spend $50 now instead of $420 for one vortech. I know i am wasting some cash now, but when i sell the maxi jet someone will get the mod with it....just cant justify the vortech when i need to pay for the tank and new skimmer...
  11. thanks bob...I would like to try it out if thats kool...pm sent..
  12. I currently have 4 powerheads in the tank. what i have been reading is with the new flow, i wont need as many. should i just start off with 2 kits and see how it affects the flow patterns in the tank? thanks
  13. think i just found it on marine depot...kits cost $15. says its not compatible with a wavemaker device? i currently am running a wavemaker powerstrip...will this be a problem..
  14. Like the title says...i plan on upgrading tanks within the year and will go with the vortech mp40's, but those are to much for my 75 gallon at the moment. I am also running a wavemaker power strip with 3 of the maxi-jets. What would be a good upgrade for the time being...so i can get some better flow thru the tank. thanks...
  15. have you emailed tom at AGE and sent him those photos? That looks like it was done by a 2 year old. Im not even sure I would start putting water in it till I hear from them.
  16. aptasia x does work, so does a copper band, problem is aptasia x is never ending, because you will never find all of them and they breed like animals..the copper band on the other hand are hard to get to eat and usually die before they eat all the aptasia. if you can get your rock out and cook it that is the best best... good luck, im dealing with it right now...and its a pain. eric
  17. so its half way between 9a and 5p // has the beast shown up yet....?
  18. bruce... i have more than enough aptasia to go around. let me know what works for you. I am off today and this weekend. Not sure if you want to come out my way this time...just let me know.. eric
  19. darn....i need to buy a new tank so i can justify buying a new sump.....
  20. bruce, if your still in need of some more rock and the ones i gave you are clean, we can swap them out for some larger rocks with more aptasia on them. just let me know. eric
  21. bruce, pm me your address. I might be able to slide by prior to work and drop off some pieces for you. eric
  22. Bruce...my tank has a bunch of aptasia in it. The problem is most of the rock has corals attached to them. I might be able to get a frag rock or two out of the tank that has nothing attached to it. I could also return the buggers when they clean out my tank. Since I have a lot of aptasia. Just let me know what you would like to do. I'm only about 15-20 mins from you. eric
