the two on the elbow are the feed pump and the co2 line. the one on top is the effluent. hook a feed pump to one of the ones on the elbow and put the line from the co2 on the other one on the elbow. make sure to get all the air out of it before you plug the pump in or it will start up with air in it and bad noises (my skimmer pump does the same thing).

on my old tank and my new tank I am doing what tom does but I dose top off over the course of the day constantly. I have a reservoir with a float switch or llc. I pump top off on a TIMED aquamedic pump (max .8gph) which I adjust to how much I evaporate. If the float switch or llc fails, my reservior overflows instead of overdosing kalk to the tank. I have not had a kalk disaster and dont ever expect one!

so they dont reproduce quickly? can't I just add more so my refugium is loaded with them and then that will help with numbers?

I have found the only good way to catch a very difficult to catch fish is to watch him a few nights and find out where he sleeps. Then a few nights later, turn on your lights full blast and poke him in his sleep and he will pop out of his burrow/hole/cave, be stunned by the light and you can easily catch him in a net. This has worked for me on my hardest to catch fish.

can I add live brine shrimp to my refugium and have them naturally feed my tank?

I switched tanks and went from Radiums to Radiums with t5s. What is the best bulb to complement the radiums? Right now I am running 4 54 watt giesemann actinic plus. I wouldn't mind a little less "blue".

the new canon d10 is waterproof. I had a cannon sd10 with a waterproof case and it was awesome. The only downside is you can't go very deep and they are $$$$. Pictures always looked great from both.

and the first two were taken with halides... the last three were just actinics... I was trying to see if there was a difference...

I haven't shipped many SPS... It does have a hint of pink to it still... I hope it colors back up!!! It looks pretty awesome either way but I bought because of the pink/green combo. It didnt seem to be stressed much... the polyps were out in the bag and the water was a good temp.
