I will say that putting your tanks on marble floors is not a great idea. Salt eats marble. I had large pits under my old tank... but I had quite a few stupid floods also. You will probably spill water on the floor at some point so the basement is safer.

feed garlic flake and nori to the tang... not sure what the small fish eats.. but chasing them and putting them in a smaller tank will make it worse...

it will repair itself over time. I have done this more times than I will admit. Mount it securely in a spot it will like. Green slimer is hardy.

My only input on this is that if you had posted them here on wamas and said that you overloaded your tank and were making room... you would have probably sold all that coral very quickly and it wouldn't have sketched anyone out. Good prices. I think people just assumed because you posted on CL and not WAMAS that it was taking away from the club. There have been sketchy guys in the past that have bought from here and sold elsewhere for profit. Welcome to WAMAS... I think this is just a misunderstanding.

Lynn, I think yours is actually a Acanthophyllia deshayesiana or Cynaria... they are alot bigger than scolymia... I have a couple of them...

I dont think they exclusively eat aptasia. I think after the aptasia is gone they will eat fish food...
