Looking good, Isaac.

My yellow tang (my first fish) is one reason that I've never added a purple tang, despite my really liking their look. That, and the fact that I have 4 tangs in the tank already (yellow, powder blue, sailfin, and scopas).

Thanks! I really like my yellow. It's doing all it can to stay on top. I'm ready to pull either one, but at 3 weeks of being together, it seems they may have worked it out, at least to the point of cohabitation. You always hear the purples being the aggressive fish, but at introduction, all my fish showed aggression towards him. In a month I can guarantee he will run the show, I think they recognize that! I have a hippo, but my tang dream slowly faded with realizing my tank is really to small for all the ones I would like to keep.

How many fish do you have in your system now?

How many fish do you have in your system now?

1 Yellow Tang

1 Purple Tang

1 Hippo Tang

1 Copperband Butterly

1 Melanurus Wrasse

1 Mystery Wrasse

3 Stocky Anthias

2 Percula Clowns

A grand total of 11 at the moment.

How many fish do you have in your system now?

yeah, how many fish do you have? doesn't seem like a lot. i want to see more!

11 at the moment, you planning to be getting more?

Haha, 11! Plus one more lonely anthias coming this weekend! More fish?! What suggestions do you have?! My current stock list is already listed above, keeping compatibility in mind, I'd love to see what you suggest. Do you think I can add an Achilles ;)!?!

Just one Anthias that I've already bought, but I don't have plans for more. See above, open to suggestions!

Another stocky anthias? You need at least one goby.

I vote that you get rid of the large monti. It's a bit raggedy looking and doesn't go with the sleek crazy brilliance of the rest of the tank. Just do it. You won't regret it. You can always keep the torch.

I do have a lonely pistol shrimp. I had a goby when I started. Grumpy pants ended up disappearing. Never found a thing.

Hmmmm ok, I can dig it. My only concern is the LTA that has nestled inside it has made it home, I mean it's rooted up inside that red monti. I think if it goes, so does the LTA. I would also like to have something in place to put there before I take it out. I have a lot of benificial aspects to that rock the monti is on. It's old, it's established, there are tons of sea stars, and sponges all over it, and who knows what else.

I pretend to be not attached to things, but I secretly (or not so secretly) am.

I gotta go to one of our data centers in Ashburn in the beginning of June, definitely need to swing by a check out the tank. Gonna stay in DC for the weekend.

Let me know man, should be around!

More Fish! More Fish! More Fish!   We want more fish!

Tank is looking great!

Sounds like the dosing is maybe helping with some growth?

Yeah, it's helping some. It's also STN/RTN'ing some of my pieces closer to the return. Everything else looks awesome though, so you've gotta pay to play.

Still working out the fish situation, slow and steady is the plan.

I didn't say add them all at once!  Just looking for a Fantasy List that could become reality over 6 mo.

Maybe some cardinal fish of some sort. Tank is looking really nice. Love the colors.

Thank you! It's getting there. I need to settle down and stop putting things in there.

Took some time this weekend to add some swag to my new DIY sump stand:

The trim adds class, the handles I'm not crazy about, but they are a cinch getting on and off. Magnets hold it in the back.

In addition, I have just gone back over my photos from April 10th, and I'm seeing RAPID growth. I'll have to do some comparison shots tomorrow. It's phenomenal, and the only change I made was dosing!

That is what the juice will do! I noticed the same thing when I started dosing. My tank also went from a 15g to 16g...just amazing!

Like the clean look in the corner with the doors, handles and trim. Very well done. I bet the little lady is also very happy!

Love that you covered the sump!

Oh and I vote for a flasher wrasse trio of females and 1 male or super male!

It's hard when you see it everyday to actually see, see it, ya know!? Thanks for the feedback. The lady is happy, she's been asking for a long time for me to clean it up a bit.

Thanks! Only took a year! I'm still burned by my last trio passing. Oh well, better in qt than my dt I always say. That will be a nice addition, I like that vote!

You thinking of making a new canopy top to cover both tanks?

You thinking of making a new canopy top to cover both tanks?

That's a really cool idea! I was thinking about making another canopy, but not one. The lady really likes the look of the stand and canopy, which is why I still have both, however, she's very quickly learning that every frame can be covered, and look nice. I think I will probably make something to match the hood for the left hand side, except black, with the same trim. Classing it up one step at a time.

Looks awesome.

Thanks! You can imagine the lady is pretty happy with it!

So here are some updated pictures as promised!
