Beautiful tank. And those lights are baller. I agree that adding a 3rd would be perfect and get rid of those dark spots. But those things aren't cheap!

Thank you! Lights are baller for sure, it's on the Tank Agenda, but hopefully will be sooner than later, they sure are anything but cheap!

So if you're not sick of pictures of my tank yet, here are some shots under the new lights. I'm super pleased with how they came out:

I'm sure you have posted this before, but what type of camera are you using? The pictures are sharp.

I use a Nikon D-90 and the lens for the last photos pictured was an af micro nikkor 60mm.

I used Avast Portal that should see more use than it does, the camera is a Nikon D90.

Thanks for the compliment, my photography skills still need a lot of work! The camera is a Nikon D90.

Yep, it's been discussed :) You can find more info than you'll ever want to know from this post forward. The short answer is a Nikon D90, but it's the lenses that are impressive, the camera is alright.

Thank you, sir! I'm actually (IMO) lightly stocked at the moment.

2 clowns

1 foxface

1 Hippo Tang

1 Yellow Tang

1 Exquisite Wrasse

1Melanurus Wrasse

1 Copperband

Everyone gets along swimmingly (pun intended,) so I'm nervous to add more, but I do want to add more, I'm always open to suggestions!

Yes, you are moderately stocked but here on you probably have to careful on what you add especially if you want to add a Tang. Do you have a preference i.e. Tangs or wrasses? I am more of a Wrasse guy but I love Powder Blue Tang....and then one fish which will for sure be in my future tank is Midas Blenny - so much charachter

I love tangs, but I find that with their color and beauty comes aggression, and big poos (tangs are messy.) I also love powder blues. And Achilles. I also love a large variety of angelfish (none of them reef safe.) I have a trio of sunburst anthias coming, and I thought about trying lots of wrasse, but only got as far as a melanurus and an exquisite. Those two are slowly working their way into my favorite though, always moving, and lots of color. They are why I built a screen top, fwiw.

Great choice! I love mine!

Love your what?! Radion, Nikon D90, or one of the fish?

Love the color!!  You have a beautiful tank.  BTW how is the copperband behaving in the tank?

Thank you! Yours is very nice as well! The copperband is behaving great! It is going on 3 months now I think? I QT'd all my fish about 5 or 6 months ago, and it allowed for a huge pod population to build. It constantly forages, but also willingly eats frozen. It is one of those fish that I think I got lucky on, however, I have heard more than one person say they had them for about 2 years, perfectly healthy, and then die. 3 months is a really small amount of time, in the grand scheme of things.
