Let's see some close ups of your zoa garden. :)

It's more of a zoa rack, with zoas scattered around. I'll take some tonight, need a macro lens again!

Bequeathed a Tube Anemone, it's doing well. Beautiful from the side of the tank, but ended up where it ended up, so this is the best shot I can give for now!

i want your clams,,,,and a frag of those Magicians when they get big enough (im guessing they are magicians)

nice pics

I can't help myself, I keep throwing clams in there! The new clam is actually golden, but it looks completely different from the front angle. We suffer many of the same afflictions, you and I. You're welcome to a frag once they are ready. I've got two colonies growing. One looks completely different, and then one looks like whats above (awesome.)

So how do you like you lights now?

So I'll write a review when I get home, they are nice, but I think full thoughts are in order.

Yay for the tube nem!

It took about 2 days, and then it came out! It's super gorgeous, and seems happy!

You know, I wrote a big review on it, and I've decided that I'll sum it up like this:

Evergrows are awesome for the money, they look great, and they get the job done.

Radions are awesome as well, the color is nice, controllable better with a reeflink, but not worth the x4 premium you pay for the brand. Customer service is only 9-5, which sucks if you work 9-5, and ecosmart has some kinks that need to be worked out, as do the reeflinks. With the cost of ecotech gear, the testing should be beyond Beta, IMO.

Now you're just showing off

I was actually really down about losing a bunch of SPS to what appeared to be STN. I've just chopped up a bunch of my colonies, so hopefully some of the bigger frags will be alright. I really think it was due to lack of enough light, so here is hoping. I often romance the thought of leaving the big tank club behind and doing something small and shallow, zoas and clams.

What is this acro's name and where can I get a frag?

I can't quite remember, I think it's called "Joe The Coral" or "Crayola Acro." It came from Jason Rhodes I believe, but I'm not sure if he even has a frag anymore. This was just an itty bitty piece, and it's slowly grown well for me.

If you go small and shallow will one tank be enough?

Are you planning to add another light to the ones you already have?

Thank you for the coral name.  Maybe there will be an auction for one on the forum.

Probably not. I'm in a good spot, the tank size is nice, big enough, not too small. Always two tanks one room.

I'd like another light, but will probably end up just throwing +2 more t5s

No problem, I'd offer a frag if mine wasn't a frag already.

So I'm no longer living the dream over here. The tank still looks good, but I've lost about 3 pieces of SPS to STN. The bigger colonies that were starting to go I cut up, and the pieces above all the STN have been fine. I guess saving part is better than losing it all. Only thing I've done is add some more light, and my vortech pump got turned down.

Calc: 420

Alk: 7.84

Mag: 1320

I'm at a loss, not big flexes, nothing comes off in dips. Majority of acros are looking great. <sigh> Oh well, not worrying about it, and enjoying the 4th, my zoas are looking great, FWIW.

Are you sorry you started dosing?

No, I don't believe that's an issue here
