I was searching around for more info on these units, and noticed that Premium Aquatics lists the Iodine one as freshwater only. Actually she spoke to the head of chemistry and here is the response, she gave out some inaccurate info a few weeks ago. SO in a nutshell YES Iodine does work with saltwater. That unfortunately is due to my error.
