New member, just moved from California

Hi everyone!

 

New member to WAMAS here, but not new to the hobby. I've been keeping nano and pico tanks for a couple years. I haven't had the space to go really big yet, but hopefully in time. 

 

A couple months ago my wife began to apply to jobs on the east coast so I began breaking down most of my tanks. I had a 30g, a 20g and a 14g that found new homes. I made a plan to bring some livestock with me across the country but decided I didn't want to deal with more than one 5g bucket(I'll probably be posting a detailed thread on how my weeklong journey went). It all worked out and I just set up a 4.14g and 5g(frag tank) yesterday! I'll probably be on the lookout for a 20g soon as I'm a bubble tip fanatic and can't add one to my current picos. 

 

Right now I'm into high end, rare or weird mushrooms, and am hoping to get a black widow or csb bubble tip 20g tank going soon. I am glad there's a strong reefing group here and I look forward to interacting with you all.

Welcome! I've done that coast to coast drive, albeit when I was a kid but I still remember that journey crystal clear. Your old setups look great!

Well, I can't say that I've spent much time in the Monterey Bay area, but welcome! (Much of my youth was spent up and down the state, hence my curiosity.)

Thanks! I'm very interested in those, but I don't think my tank is quite ready for a bubble tip yet.
