  1. It's still fairly small. I'd say about an inch. It was the smallest of the batch.
  2. Sorry to hear. I have 1 clown from that group buy that I've been holding in a nano that I can give you.
  3. Gen X pH ~6.5 Yes AC jr about 60-70 drips/min about 9 to 10 dKH and test every 2 months or so
  4. It's the one from Aquarium specialty. Thanks! The corals are starting to look nice again after getting rid of most of the majanos.
  5. oh that one. That's the only shot I have so far. It's a small frag I just got so it may take some time before I can get a frag out of it. I will take a side shot though and post it here. Thanks! Sorry, my inbox has been cleaned out. I have a lot of messages about the blue table acro. The tabling formation on that is so tight I don't think I can get a big frag out without breaking up the whole piece. I think the most I can get from it are half inch frags.
  6. I think I have 1 small frag of the monti. Pm me if you're interested.
  7. Thanks for the comments. I'm still learning with the camera so hopefully I can get better ones over the holiday break.
  8. Just got a top down acrylic box and trying to learn how to take photos with it. I really like how photos turn out but need to figure out how to take more shots given the space above the tank. The clarity and coloration is just so much better when viewing corals from the top. I think next time I will turn off all or at least some of the pumps to keep the box from moving and maybe i'll get better shots. This blue table is my favorite coral right now. I got the colony from SteveM. Supposed to be a rainbow monti. Slowly regaining the reds and oranges: Unknown yellow bottlebrush with green tips: Oregon Tort: Unknown tort: Lime in the sky?? Rose Millepora: ORA Hawkins Echinata: Sunset Millepora: Montipora sp? ORA Red Planet that I was brown when I got it: Tricolor Valida: Purple Monster:
  9. Wow! Tanks looks good man! Wish I could keep my tank that clean
  10. Thanks for the comments guys. F&F has been getting a lot of good stuff and I'm lucky to live nearby. reefhunter, yeah it dug its foot beneath the sandbed and it's probably wedged under a rock.
  11. Just want to post some new stuff I bought from F&F. They are fully stocked right now and I wish I had more money to spend on corals. Blue gigantea - was bleached a little but is starting to color back up: my Rod's onyx and Doni's picasso are in heaven: These look like Spiderman zoas but look a lot better IMO. There are a few more frags of these at F&F: Here's a photo of Spiderman zoas for comparison: Are these AOG palys?
  12. Tank looks great and looks much better in person. Those acans are just about ready to be fragged
  13. Thanks guys. Renato, those frags are doing great. I love the nightmare palys. I will have to take photos when I get back from vacation.
  14. My tank was infested with majanos and I have removed hundreds of them. The back wall of the tank was covered with them. I think I'm down to about 100 majanos from what seemed to be more than a thousand. The frag tank is looking good but most of the corals in the main display tank were either sold or given away. The display is almost empty with the exeption of a few corals. I'm preparing to put in a butterfly to take care of the rest of the majanos. Here are a few shots of some stuff that I kept in the frag tank to grow out once i'm ready to put corals in the display tank again. Wild rainbow monti that I bought from F&F a while back: My oregon tort and yes that's what it looks like in person (from totallyexoticcorals.com): unknown blue acro: unknown blue bottlebrush from F&F: lokani (I forgot if it's the 20k or the 30k): purple monster: sunset millepora: and of one of my favorite fish:
  15. not much to update buy my clowns have grown so much. will have to take photos when I get back from vacation
  16. I almost bought that setup because the deal was too good to pass up. I just couldn't make it out to Richmond due to work and schedule with the kids. Congrats and I can't wait to see more progress on this one.
  17. oooh this sounds familiar. Did you get this setup from Richmond? If so, that is a steal.
  18. I have used all 3. What size/model were you looking for? The MSX and Octo extreme are essentially the same skimmer. I think the only difference is the pinwheel/meshmod assembly. I used to run the MSX200 and never had issues with it. Works a lot better if you meshmod it properly. I downgraded to a Vertex IN-100 but had a few issues with the impeller. The pump would just shut off after a few days. They changed the size of the impeller shaft to a smaller one so it doesn't seize up anymore. It's been running trouble free for 2 months now. Both work great for the price.
  19. hmmm...let me know if you find it. I'm looking for a retro kit. Thanks!
  20. Found it...it's 45mm. I have the day off tomorrow so I should be home all day. Give me a call if you'd like to stop by.
  21. Henry, I think I have one. I'll check when I get home tonight. Give me a call or send me a pm tomorrow.
  22. The base doesn't look like a pagoda cup. As Sugar Magnolia said, the alveoporas have 12 tentacles. Check out this link: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2005/10/aafeature2
  23. looks like a goniopora to me.
