Have you ever thought about the cost or purchasing and running 3-4 pumps and the heat it would create? Your going to need a chiller with all those pumps. I would buy one big pump to run the system.

i wouldnt trust a tank with a chip that big and the air bubbles in the silicone. Tell them to replace the silicone and do the glass while they are at it

So there is a chance Good luck with Glasscages but i am pretty sure they arent going to tell you what you want to here. Its possible that it was chipped and the chip fell out and then you noticed it.

the glass on that tank is pretty thin and your chances on breaking it IMO are very high. If you do try it drain it all the way down and drill it using a diamond bit for a dremel. Using a hole saw will almost guarantee you break it.

i am assuming the pump is external and he wants a slant baffle to keep down the bubbles going into the compartment that the pump is attached to. Is that correct?

with temps up to 87 your lucky anything at all made it. I say its the temp that caused a problem with your elegance.

I dont think the ph monitor was way off from when you calibrated it. IMO 7.9-8.1 swing is good. 8.2 is ideal

Dave i was thinking the same thing. The CC gives your money back as a courtesy so its not over and you should still pursue it. They have the right to charge it back to your card based on what the investigation turns up. Good luck

Correct me if I am wrong but arent these guys for "Experts"? Dont mean to sound harsh in anyway but i think you are rushing into things. You have had issues with your 12g tank and you are still very fresh to the hobby from what i understand. I dont think it is a good choice and i think you will find that out very quickly if you go ahead with this. Just my opinion though.

10g tanks are not tempered but break very easily when drilled. I did one with a diamond tip dremel bit without a problem. Hole saws will probably break the tank

no problem. Flatworm exit will take care of them (little red ones)

treat for flatworms. I have seen them in some of their pictures
