  1. You can't beat this look IMO. http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/diy/5941...-hqi-cheap.html
  2. Nah, I'm definitely selling. With my job, I'm out of town for nearly 40 weeks out of the year. I just don't have the time to enjoy it like I used to. I'll have prices up before too long, first will be the corals/livestock, then I'll worry about the equipment.
  3. Well, I've decided to sell the system, so I've started photo logging all the corals I have. I'm just burnt out on the hobby right now and this upgrade has made me realize just how much work I'm having to do versus the enjoyment I'm getting out of it. I'm having to lug 65 gallons of water up a flight of stairs every month for topoff water and water changes (and that's with just 1 water change per month!). Anyway, here's a few pics to start off with: I'll post a for sale thread when I've got prices for everything drawn up.
  4. Thanks! I appreciate it. I'll keep everyone updated.
  5. Has anyone seen any Candy Basslets for sale? If so, where, how much, and how nice of a specimen was it? I'm in the market to find one, but it'll have to be gorgeous. For anyone who doesn't know what they are/look like http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2006/10/fish
  6. It's a Tek 6x39 watt fixture. The bulb configuration is: Back: ATI Blue+ ATI Pro Color ATI Blue+ ATI AquaBlue Special ATI Blue+ ATI Blue+
  7. Ok first pics. I still need more rock, but it's a start A birthday present from my wife, 2 female Lyretail Anthias to go with our quasi male :D
  8. Negative, it's still holding water like a champ. At this point I'm going to stick it out and pray that my wife doesn't kill me if we end up with 120 gallons of water on the floor, LOL! I really don't think the chip did anything structurally though, it's just an eyesore. My next project is to find some thing to cover the corners to hide the messy silicone and the chip. Pics will follow this weekend hopefully
  9. Yeah I know, I thought it was weird to have those bubbles too. If you guys had a tank that had a chip that large taken out of it, would you trust it's integrity? I can easily cover the chip up and nobody would know, but I'm just not confident at this point that it will continue to hold water. Maybe a prolonged water test would be in order?
  10. Nah, I inspected that tank very thoroughly before I accepted it. I know GlassCages isn't going to help at all, but it's worth a shot. I've taken every precaution I can think of to prevent anything from happening to that tank, but oh well.
  11. I've got a wife but no kids. I'm 99.9% sure no one touched the tank in the last week. It's very odd that it would chip.
  12. They built the tank, but I have no idea what caused the chip. It looked fine up until when I checked on it today :(
  13. :( So now I get to deal with GlassCage's award winning customer service. Yay me.
  14. Yep, Glass Cages It's on the floor now, I just had it up there to paint it, haha.
